Yikes curvy divas , it has been an entire week without a new fashion post from me.  As I continue to tweak my new look for your reading pleasure, I am re-posting "Makeup Mistakes to Avoid.  The weather is getting warmer, the heavy coats are coming off (even the lighter jackets too), and we are getting more "dolled up" for Spring, with Summer around the corner!  Go ahead and click the link below, there are some great tips inside! In an effort to make my blog the creative muse I dream of it to be, I'm going to select a new look. Just so you know, this upcoming change may not possibly be the last time (never say never right?!) as I am  contemplating if I am staying with Blogger or not.  While I do own my blog name, there's a certain look I want that Blogger doesn't seem to offer and it's probably on Blogger somewhere, (because maybe they might have it and I just haven't found it yet) as I need to take the time to look for what I want.  I'm going to build the look I want to have, perhaps not from scratch, but somehow I will!  Don't be surprise if you open up to read with me and I have a different look on my blog. Doing this will allow me to do some of the other things I've wanted to do.   I hope you will be as excited about change curvy divas , as I am!  I will continue to post new articles! I'm a big fan of making my hands even more beautiful when I accentuate with the use nail polish curvy divas .   Not just with accessories!  Do you do the same?  I literally change my nail color every week, yes, EVERY WEEK!  Why? Well, why not?!  No, seriously, I do it because it makes me feel good about myself, and it makes me happy, so indeed, why not?!  There were even colors I was trying to find, for example, Navy was one of them, and guess what I found the other day while browsing the Dollar Store aisle ...NAVY!!!!  Now, you might think to yourself, "The Dollar Store Aisle " To that I would again say...."Why not"?!!! You can find some really good brands and bargain at the Dollar Store, I've wrote about that before, look it up! I guess by now you have received their new catalogues, with the amazing prices that makes you go, "How is that possible?"   Or you look at each of the clothes inside and "ohhed" and "awwwed" at the stylish coolness of their new looks? Who am I talking about? Why JC Penney of course, now fashionably called JCP!! They have definitely come full-circle, re-inventing themselves with a new look, introducing themselves to an entirely new audience!  My 11 year old being one of them!  We did a Mall crawl this past weekend and out of curiosity, we decided to stop in to window-shop at JCP to see if what they showed in their catalogue, is really what is going on? Well curvy divas , it is!! They have clothing that are so clean and simple, yet so stylish!   The colors remind me of candy and bubble gums and those hazy days of Summer and Spring combined!   I even remarked that the looks brought me back to my childhood when the clothing was simple but stylishly nice!

Have you ever made some weird mistakes when dressing yourself curvy divas ? You know, those little fashion faux pas that really aren't a big deal but somehow they are?! I've seen people wearing socks with sneakers. ..I've never done that one, but I can understand why some people do it. Well, sometimes the dust and dirt gets into your footwear, or dries out your skin so wearing socks with sandals is a must....um, maybe NOT!!!lol! I've had visible panty line without realizing it. Sometimes it is just too late to change my outfit and so I just roll with the best of them!   A quick recover is to wear a long cardigan, or jacket (which I do), or just wrap your shirt around your waist to cover your assets...which might just be an even bigger faux pas! ~ chagrin ~ In their Beauty & Style feature on sheknows.com , they featured The Top Fashion Faux-pas ! Did you catch the MTV Movie Awards last night curvy divas ?  My favorite red carpet look was Kerry Washington's!  I love her dress, and her hair and makeup were just perfect! Kerry's makeup was clean, fresh & youthful! My Island home of Jamaica is also known for its trends in fashion.  You didn't know this curvy divas?   Just attend any event where Jamaicans frequent and you will see some of the most fiercest fashionistas out there!  We do have a sense of style and we love to play with our fashion; and for some, the playing can be from the most demure, the most stylishly trendy, or even the most outlandishly outrageous! I'm excited and amazed that they have done this curvy divas!!!!  Not only are they using plus size models, they are using people of all ages, and sizes, as well as paraolympians; the models featured are so varied and oh so beautiful!!!!   As I read on, Caryn Franklin continued, " To showcase the range of sizes and labels at Debenhams this season, I chose models to inspire us with their own unique looks and personalities. I really do enjoy reading magazines, including the variety of fashion magazines that are on line. As you might have noticed curvy divas , I've posted articles I've read from fashion magazine sites for Elle, Refinery29, Allure, Plus Model, The Daily Muse, and Vogue , the ones I do read the most! Recently, I was perusing Refinery29.com when they mentioned that a new digital fashion magazine is coming on the scene soon. I walked my fingers over to the address link and was prompted to input my email address, which I did. If you have done it before, isn't it like, really fun?  I know, the clothes are used, and some of them are really so, old, but if you love vintage curvy divas, even better !   And if you love a bargain, you've hit the mother lode! If you remember curvy divas , last summer I wrote my first article about Leggings .   I've even written about men wearing Meggings !    And from time to time, I have featured other articles with leggings!   T his time I've found an article on Refinery29.com showing us tips on how to wear leggings the cool way!    I must admit that not being a size 0, I sometimes tend to cover my "assets" when wearing certain styles, leggings being one of those styles!   I usually layer long with short to give me a cleaner look.  I see from this article that I was on the right track! What is that one style, that one fashionable trend that you love so much that you still do it today, and you're not planning on stopping curvy divas ?   For me that trend is layering a dress over pants (or leggings)!  It's something that I do quite often and I don't plan on stopping! One of the reasons I do it is because I don't like wearing dresses that are too short, and even if I do buy a short/mini dress, I'm going to wear it, but with pants, and sometimes leggings!  It is a comfortable and stylish go-to look for me!
