Show Me Your Closet

Many of us love Designer brand clothing.  We love it so much that we eat, sleep and well, do everything we can to get them in our closets!  When I have a brand that I love in my closet, that makes this girl very happy.  While I don't "corner" the market on the brands I enjoy wearing, I do have one trick I use so that I can afford those that I absolutely adore.                    From Designer, Phillip Lim as seen at Bergdorf Goodman  online     Do you want to know what that trick is?  I am sure that you, my dear curvy divas, know this already because you have been doing the very same thing all along, especially since you read and follow this blog.  

I found myself at the Mall of Millenia, a high-end mall the other day, Amanda and I went on a little adventure at which I was very excited. This mall is a bit farther away from us so we don't get there as often. It was about time I visited H&M...oh my love for that store has increased!!!  While I was there, I wanted to grab a handful of clothing and run to the fitting room, but I had a hard time finding my size.  Where were the larger sizes for us curvy girls??!!  I thought there was a sectioned for plus size-didn't see if one and couldn't find sizes for me. Jersey Maxi Dress w/raw edges at arms & slit It was a busy place so I couldn't ask anyone who worked there (I saw so few employees), but the store was pretty busy... however after looking around, I saw a dress I liked, a large was the largest size, I picked one in each color, a black and a grey;  it was a tee-shirt style, cotton-jersey material; with a round neckline and a slit that had me won...

It seems there are some people with habits that are getting some retailers upset.  There are some stores that do not like their customers return habits.  There are some consumers out there curvy divas, who buy an item, wear it, and return to the store.   They do this over and over again, so much so that they are now on the "radar" of the store's management! These stores are now changing their return policies for customer's who constantly return stuff.  So it is not only because the customer have worn a garment and returned it, but just because they buy and return, and buy and return.....possibly, more than two times in a given month.  According to the article I read on Refinery29.com ,  some stores are now "compiling data on customers who often purchase and return items, even if they do so at different stores.  Information about you will go into a database where other stores who are part of whatever organization or linke...
