I love make up and even more, I love wearing bold eye colors! It is a way I choose to define my eyes and that gives me a bold sense of confidence.   Two-toned Layered Eye colors I recently posted a short video greeting on the Fan Page a week ago, and I was wearing a bold two-toned eye color makeup; and I mentioned that I had layered the colors on my eyelids.  One of our fans wanted to learn how to do this so I created a video #MakeupTutorial and posted it to our fan page. It is the unofficial start of summer and so many of us have been experiencing warmer days.   The one thing that many of us will be doing because of these sunnier days, nope, not sitting in front of the AC, wait, you mean you don’t have central air at your job yet? That’s just not cool. But you know the one thing you will be able to do this summer?   You will finally have sunglasses that will be a perfect fit for your face.   So many of us walk around with sunglasses that slips and slides, or falls off our face the minute we look down or bend over.   There is a way to tell which sunglasses is the best type for you.   If you have a: Square shaped face , you will need an Aviator style glasses.   Ray Ban Aviator Small - this particular one is a petite but there is the regular sized too

If you've seen my video Vlog about how to remove glitter nail polish and at that time I also shared other random tips , you'll remember I put on a Nude Lipstick, encouraging you curvy divas to not be afraid of colors that you wouldn't normally wear . The online magazine Refinery 29 featured Nude Lipstick like you've never seen them before , because there was one for every skin tone .  It was pretty interesting to see the variety and I wanted to share them with you. On my Style Want List for 2015 is a jumpsuit.  The jumpsuit became very popular again and it is a look that is still around today. I have seen so many different styles and would like to have one that will fit me perfectly. I walked into  Kohl's the other day and saw an extra large poster of Jennifer Lopez wearing a jumpsuit that made me sigh and whispered "wow".  JLO was wearing the heck out of that jumpsuit.  of course having a stylist and great lighting made it even better!lol! I decided to try on the two I liked the best, one black and the other a black & white print, both JLO's design.   While the black jumpsuit was attractive, and I loved the pockets, the fit wasn't what I liked. I felt it had too much going on.   The waist was gathered elastic band, with a self string, and the bodice was a deep V neckline with a small hook for modesty.  It was a jersey cotton material but it wasn't a great fit for me. I didn't love it. ...

Did you catch the styles on the Oscar's Red Carpet this past week curvy divas?  I did too.  My overall favorite look was worn by an actress who knows how to "kick-ass" in her movies, did just that at the Oscars.  Scarlett Johansson wore a gorgeous green Atelier Versace gown and her statement necklace was a beautiful compliment to her entire look - made a perfect style note!   Scarlett Johansson as seen on elle.com She also wore two different style earrings, nope, they didn't match. You go girl! Oprah Winfrey was very elegant in her Vera Wang gown.  I love the color, and the detailing on the bodice of the dress accentuated her shape very nicely. Style note - sheer sleeves. Recently I posted about my idea to wear what no one else would probably think about wearing outside as normal wear!   I decided to wear a swimsuit wrap as outerwear.   http://fabulouslycurvy.blogspot.com/2014/07/swimwear-as-outerwear.html My look was a pink yogo top I bought at Kohl's department store.  I chose that top because it was the same color as my swimsuit wrap and would make for a better style-look, in my opinion.  I wore capri leggings because while I love the idea of my outfit, walking around without something underneath, would not be a good thing!lol! I accessorize with gold filigree earrings, watch and ring.  To complete the look, I chose flip flops, in turquoise, a perfect match for my current nailpolish! Have you ever done that before curvy divas? Wear swimwear as outerwear? I don't mean having your swimwear on and going to the store on your way to the beach or pool. I mean wear a swimwear item out and about doing daily activities?!!! Well...guess who will try that....ME!  Yep. This bold fashion statement will either be a rave...or a bust! Here I am with a swim cover up on......... a very sheer swim cover up! Will it work?   Am I that bold.....? I have done it again curvy divas , found the perfect red color for my natural hair. I'm LOVING IT!!!!  I've shared my "fascination" with red hair and how I have been trying to find the perfect red over the years.   Last summer I took the plunge and bleached my hair to get the color I want to "take" to my natural tresses.  As I noted before, taking care of my hair, using no other chemicals allowed me to be able to do this.  So if you don't want to go that route of bleaching your hair to achieve the color you want, I recommend you use a semi-permanent rinse and see how it will look on you.  With a semi permanent rinse it washes out after a few shampoos.   You might not get the same effect , however if you continue to use it over time, with care, you will have a hint of red that you will love!   Be sure to go to your hair stylist and seek their professional help when you decide to take the plunge!  For now, I'm loving my hair,...

Megan Cahn a beauty contributor for  Elle magazine online on elle.com/beauty/hair  wrote an article  about  different hair colors to try for this Spring curvy divas.   I say why stop at Spring? Why not have a different color for each season of the entire year!  It might be stressful on the tresses, but with careful planning & gentle care, it could work couldn't it?   In the article there are the usual blonde, brunette, and of course my favorite red-head color palettes to choose from. But she also featured Easter-colors such as purples, blues....impressively wow!   Follow the link and take a look to see which color you like; or if you're like me, how many colors you will try! Whenever you're going out to an event, or activity, what would you say is the best way you can complete your outfit?   By adding an accessory item or two, or more...yes!  You can wear the "dopest" shoes you have in your closet, or utilize that new handbag (pocketbook) you just bought. I may have already shared with you that I wasn't a fan of skinny jeans , at least for me personally, in the beginning curvy divas .  However, since I finally gave in and bought one that was on sale at Kohl's, where else?!
