~Happy Blogoversary, Happy Blogoversary, Happy Blogoversary, Hhaaaaapppppy Blog-o-ver-sa-ry!~ Wow curvy divas, it is that time again, we commemorate the date Fabulously Curvy blog began.   We wrote an article in 2013 for our First Year Blogversary , but I don't remember why I didn't do one for year two?!  However, that's in the past and we are moving forward with excitement and looking forward to what is to come for us. In 2014 we covered happenings such as: Alexander Wang's first  collab with H&M ; and  National Handbag Day .  We covered events such as: going backstage for Orlando International Fashion Week , covering their casting call; and announcing the launch of Beyond the Curves First Showcase here in Orlando .  We shared curvy news such as the launch of Domino Dollhouse's new fashion line, Science Vision Collection , and did our first Vlog "How To",

OMG, we're at the "9th" hour of Friday and I'm so late in posting this article which I am writing as I "speak"!  I recorded a video vlog earlier today to post as an update before I posted the last article for this week's blog-scavenger hunt but alas, sometimes life just gets in the way! Oy! Firstly, I had to go to the docs to get a check up because of some flare up issues with my upper back. Yikes, I've been feeling really yucky on and off and have put off doing what needs to be done and decided, now it must be done. Now I'm supposed to take all these meds and I'm like, "Really"?  I hate taking pills!  Then the nurse prior to me seeing the doc told me my weight and I was like "Really"?  Nooooooo!   No seriously NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!  Oy!

It is the unofficial start of summer and so many of us have been experiencing warmer days.   The one thing that many of us will be doing because of these sunnier days, nope, not sitting in front of the AC, wait, you mean you don’t have central air at your job yet? That’s just not cool. But you know the one thing you will be able to do this summer?   You will finally have sunglasses that will be a perfect fit for your face.   So many of us walk around with sunglasses that slips and slides, or falls off our face the minute we look down or bend over.   There is a way to tell which sunglasses is the best type for you.   If you have a: Square shaped face , you will need an Aviator style glasses.   Ray Ban Aviator Small - this particular one is a petite but there is the regular sized too

Have you ever had those moments when you realize that what you just did was a mistake?  You sit with your mouth open thinking "Oh no, oh my god, oh my god...".   Thank heavens when you do realize that the mistake that you made is NOT that serious! Whew~ yep, I made a boo boo.  I posted my hair article on my Lifestyle blog, when it should have been published on my fashion blog.  You see when I started with just Foreverserenity , Me n My 'Fro was a feature there. Now that I have Fabulously Curvy , I decided it would be better as part of my "beauty" articles to feature my hair articles here instead.

I love thrifting, do you? I have not stopped by our local Goodwill in a while and decided to go browse , just to see what I could find. You know what I love about thrifting at Goodwill? Their color theme discount.   If you happen to purchase clothing items and the tag is the color of the day, you get it at half price! A J.Jill Striped dress, a score on special discount! Now normally, I rarely ever get in on that discount . But it's thrifting, and they give student discount, whose complaining?   Not me!  I am really looking for certain items which I will share at another write up, however, I went in with an open mind and a promise not to walk out with too much stuff . I'm infamous for going in for "one item" and walking out with let's just say more than one!

Sometimes the results of your curly twist out is too much curls, or too frizzy a look . Here is what I do to fix that.  Plus I tried out a Jewelry Tattoo for the first time!!! Watch what happens.   Photos of  item(s) for the raffle will be posted in this article .

I have seen so many bloggers write about kimonos lately, it's fast becoming one of the favorite fashion trends.   I have Seen so many types of kimonos and so far I am loving this trend. I do love a great cover up and find having those types of clothing in my closet a good thing. Much like a jacket  or cardigan, I doubt you can go wrong.                                                  

I love to dream. I dream about a lot of things. One of those dreams is a vision I've had for a while and I hope to put into play soon. I was playing around with an App, Photogrid, and created these two covers.  

It definitely was a ladies night at the Bill Board Music Awards last night, both on stage with the mostly female performers, and on the red carpet before the show. There was definitely an eclectic mixture of style and fashion trends, too many to go into at this writing.    My three favorite looks were worn by Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift and Renee Bargh.
