Found:The Sexiest Top Ever....How to wear?

I found this gorgeous top at one of my favorite places I shop when I'm on a budget, Rainbow.  They carry very trendy pieces for all sizes, which is why I love going there.  I call them my "Diamond in the rough" because they may look really cheap, but they will have some great styles, with good tailoring from time to time.   This beige/oatmeal colored top was one of those deals!  I fell in love with it right away.  I fitted it, and it's great on. But my dilemma is, how do I wear it?  With jeans, skirt, slacks?  Do I go with a tank underneath, or a jacket over....but a jacket would hide those gorgeous details! Note the beaded Y-shaped back, the rouching at the waist, and the cowl neck on the front, and the drape-effect on the back!  It definitely will be a great look.  What I am unsure about is the "bareness", and as I'm working on my arms right now, (running 3-4 times a week ...

Buttoned-down White Men's Shirt

Have you ever worn any items from your closet three different ways?  It's not really that hard to do is it  curvy divas? That was the discussion on a website I visit often BeyondBlackWhite.com , I entered a contest for a chance to win a $100 Visa Gift Card.  My first thought was for my black knit dress from Kohl's,which I even wrote about recently .  I've worn it three different ways in the past, with jacket & heels; with a pair of dress pants; and with boots and a jacket; I mentioned this on the blogsite for my entry! I got to thinking that there are other clothing that I do wear in a pretty versatile way, one of them is   my white buttoned-down shirt !  It is a men's shirt that I love, especially because it belonged to my dad.  This was my most recent outfit with that white buttoned-down shirt: For Work: White shirt, styled with long black skirt & beige/khaki boots Accessories: multi-strand pearl necklace, ea...

Bondage

Fashion is a wonderful thing. It represents all aspects of life. Have you ever thought of that curvy divas ?  Let's see, it showcases not just the design talents and skills of the people who create and make them from start to finish; fashion is created from our lives, the past and present, and also predicts future trends! A month ago while I was doing Christmas shopping, I picked up a pair of shoes that I saw and loved the moment I laid eyes on them!   Now, mind you I couldn't try them on because I had recently hurt my right foot and was still recovering from that injury, I couldn't wear shoes, let alone heels!   They were also inexpensive but nicely made so what's not to like?  I posted them on my Oh My Shoegasm page!  I recently wore them (after healing - almost done) and oh my, they didn't disappoint! The style - love it; the comfort - love it It dawned on me that these stiletto heels were in the Bondage style!  I deci...

Edgy Fashionista!

You know what I'm tired of curvy divas ?  I'm tired of Society telling me what I can and cannot wear . I'm sick of seeing models who should be plus sized and they're not, modeling clothes that is supposed to fit a curvy woman! How am I going to tell how that clothing really looks on my curvy behind if the model who is showing it has none?   I'm also tired of not finding really stylish clothing in curvy diva sizes!!!  That's the three I'll list for now and I'll stop right there! I like to dress with not just style but with a bit of a "pop" thrown in too.  That means I love to accessorize , and they don't usually match.   I love to color coordinate but not in a "matchy-matchy" type of way.  I love to dress up , most of the times.  As someone commented to me recently, "I guess you dress according to your moods". Yes I do and there's nothing wrong with that! I was looking around on the Intraweb at the different...
