When a Makeover Drags On and on...

It has been so long since writing on the blog!   I cannot tell you how much I miss Writing.  It is difficult when the Vision you foresee cannot come together for "the look" I envision.  Not to worry though my Closet Squad, this Blogger will get her Muse going until we can pull-off what we want to achieve! And working really hard at it! 🤗😄 So, what do you do if your plans don't work the way you want them to?   You do your best with what you have until you get to the place where you want to be.   And on that note, let's keep on Blogging!   I have shared quite a lot on our Fan Page on Facebook, we have grown from 25 "Likes" to 67! That my dears is a major feat!   I did that without ANY advertising  My "likes" also fluctuates, I'm guessing on the whims or moods of some people, but I'm not sitting and worrying about it! However, with my plans to grow, there is a lot more to do.   Do stop by to see what we have been up to, and give us...

Balmain X H&M Collaboration

Draped Silk Skirt - SOLD OUT It's not as if I didn't know there wouldn't be any sizes to fit my curvy bod, but I was hoping.  I was also hoping for size 11 shoes. No such luck!  I'm lucky that I can fit an XL or even up to a size Medium in most better brands.  I know some of my curvy divas or not that lucky. The one thing that I have noticed though is that the prices for the collaboration between Balmain & H&M is actually pretty good.  For those who don't mind spending a little more, they go from high, $299 and up; and those who don't want to break their pockets, from $99 and below.   That's pretty reasonable for most people's budget!

How to have a Closet of Never-ending Outfits

What are some of the items that you would find in most women's closet?  A long sleeved denim shirt  A Button-downed shirt - (two - one color, one white) A sheath dress (aka a straight or shift style dress) A great fitting pair of jeans A tailored jacket A pair of khakis A flirty skirt A stripe t-shirt and a plain one A pair of Converse A pair Sneakers A pair of flats Tanks tops High heels A scarf A sweater A pair of dress trousers A pair of leggings Now, what other pieces could you add to those basic pieces that you already own?  Here is what I would add: Your skirt should be a flirty A-line skirt in a print or plain - or both.

The Boyfriend's Back!

How do you style your Boyfriend Jeans if you have one?  Do you dress it up, or down?  I've done both.  However I mostly wear it in casual mode because to me, the Boyfriend's just all about comfort!   Is this a style-look you would wear?  I love graphic tees, and dressing it up with a dressy earring or necklace is my favorite thing to do.  Add nice detailing such as a buckled belt and a pair of heels...platforms will do too.  Off you go to Brunch, the movies, casual dining, hanging with the girls...or boys. Show me how you would style yours. The Boyfriend's Back!   featuring zara shoes
