Thank You!!

My dearest Curvy Divas and Gents, I am so thankful for YOU. You allow me to express myself and share all and sundry on this blog, in fact on all of my blogs!!!! YOU have stuck with me over the years and I appreciate it. I have a readership of over 2000 on a monthly basis; over 3000 when I am on a roll and under 2000 when both of us are too busy to show up everyday! Now.that's.No small.potatoes, you totally rock! For those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving, a wish for a safe and enjoyable bonding time with family and friends. For those who don't, do be safe and have your moments as well. Happy Thanksgiving Week Break

Can you believe Thanksgiving will be here in a few days curvy divas?  Me neither!  I knew it was coming, I'm looking at dates on a daily basis, and then it jumped up and "slapped me in the face" that will be this Thursday - the big day.   For my international divas, you may be aware that every year, we in the United States celebrate Thanksgiving . It is usually the last thursday in November and this year it falls on November 27th. Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving too, however, there celebration happens much earlier than ours.   Do you celebrate where you are too?  Tell us about your tradition leave a comment below! Dressed up Thanksgiving - The Sweatshirt

Are you wondering what to wear to this year's Thanksgiving dinner curvy divas?   Last year I gave you a  few ideas, blouson dress, leggings, jeans with belted sweater, see the link here .  This year I am trying to be even more simple, yet I am also in the mood to dress up a little. Hmmm, what to wear, what to wear.....?  I was perusing purewow.com and then the lightbulb went off when I saw thir feature on the sweatshirt, "it" being the "trend" for Fall.   I've shared with you that I like the idea of the sweatshirt all dressed-up !  I think it happens to be one of those items in your closet you can dress up or down, much like your jeans! These three outfits were my favorite choices: This  embellished-lace skirt and statement necklace dresses up the grey sweatshirt .  I would wear a pair of tights with heels to add to the dressy look; or leggings with flats or boots for a more casual but eclectic look . What to Wear for Thanksgiving Dinner?

It's a dilemma for, perhaps, many women right now? The guys probably might worry about this too, but for now, we're focusing on us girls, right curvy divas ?! I'm not going to a big formal affair, just dinner at my daughter's house with her fiance and my grandson.  It will be a family affair, just us, and them ...and anyone else who might stop by!lol! I'm loving this cotton sweater and jeans or dressed pants idea .   A scarf is a perfect layer to this outfit!  It would mean I won't be too warm, or feel cold if the weather changes! This is an ad from shop.nordstrom.com from their Women's Plus line That's a good thing, when you don't have to get too dressed up for Thanksgiving Dinner. However, i t's a special day and for some of us, we might want to look nice , wouldn't you agree?!  My youngest has already picked out her outfit which she showed me last night, a pair of teal blue leggings with blue tulle skirt and a teal tee shirt! ...
