                                       Now that Summer is almost here we are feeling the need to do those stuff we women do to express ourselves such as wear bolder, more beautiful colors; and go even bolder with our nail polish and hair colors.   Let's face it, warmer weather brings out brighter hues! Have you done your feet yet?   You know what I mean curvy divas. Have you gotten a pedicure lately?  If not it is time to get your feet ready for summer. There are times however, when it's impossible to get to the salon.  What's a girl to do?  Become a D.I.Y. (Do it Yourself) maven of course!

I caught this on elle.com, they call it " Fa ni cu re" , so cute (notice my play on colors?) !  Firstly, I love the bright colors . My Newest obsession .....let me re-phrase that, I 'v e added a new color to my nail polish wardrobe . At the rate that my tween uses my nail polishes, a new color doesn't last very long for me. If you have been reading my Lacquered articles,  you know that I wear a different nail polish color weekly, and I love adding new colors.   What better way to update your looks, and have a little "me time"! Do you agree with this line of thinking curvy divas? This color is a Grey - Brown and has sparkles, not overly sparkled , which means you can wear it to work. It's by Wet'n Wild. Whohooooo it's the eve to New Year's Eve curvy divas, are you ready to party?  Do you know where you will be? Wherever it is, you know your nails has got to be done! You can fit your nails in right before your hair salon visit.  Even better, you can do a self manicure. The different looks in nail polish has been trendy this year and i'm sure won't stop in 2014.  You have so many choices, from matte to glitter, and all the colors in between.  I say let's make our nails festive for our night out and go with glitter or even a pretty bright color!  For the holidays I had my nails in a bright Holiday Red. I wanted a different look for New Year's Eve and I did my nails (a self manicure)  and got inventive with my nail polish by using a soft - glittered pink and added red at the tips . I actually like it.  Bring your inner - creativity out and have fun with your nail looks !

In Purewow's Beauty section online, I read with interest that the new trend for nails this fall will be the matte finished,  as in shine-free!  Well move over glossy & shiny!  Remember curvy divas , there is matte makeup ; matte lipstick ; I even remember the matte finish jewelry trend , and now we have matte nail polishes!! Did you ever think that trend would be in nail polishes too?   According to Purewow, the Matte Finish not only comes as a nail polish, but also as a Top Coat! They recommend that we first try the top coat in matte finish to see if we like the look.  You can apply it over your regular nail color of the week and have matte-finished nails! Summer is winding down or has only two more days for so many who had a summer break!   Already many of the mags (magazines) have looked to Fall.  If you are like me curvy divas , you are looking forward to Fall looks in fashion!  Nails are still pretty much a part of the fashion equation and with that in mind, I poured avidly over the latest article from Elle.com about the nail colors for Fall!  Some of the colors that I notice that are popping up for nail polishes are in the red family, such as Oxblood & Bordeaux , and blue family, such as  Midnight Blue  and even in the Purple family such as Amethyst ! I love wearing nail polish on my fingers and toes. I went an entire week without self-pampering...one of my guilty pleasures before the start of my work week! My daughter, Amanda decided she would treat me to some pampering and painted my fingers and toes for me! She started out with my feet, dabbing a really pretty coral-orange color from the Sinful Colors professional line called Summer Peach , on my toes. What a gorgeous color which so reminds me of warm summer days! She then used one of the prettiest pink I've seen in a while, Bikini, also from the Sinful Color brand! (sidenote - Bikini was her birthday treat to me recently)! A Top Coat and then Glitter nail color were applied....Glitter is her favorite! If you do nothing else this Spring and Summer curvy divas , add new nail colors to your wardrobe!

I'm a big fan of making my hands even more beautiful when I accentuate with the use nail polish curvy divas .   Not just with accessories!  Do you do the same?  I literally change my nail color every week, yes, EVERY WEEK!  Why?
