Wearable Nail Polish Colors You Will Love!

I'm a big fan of making my hands even more beautiful when I accentuate with the use nail polish curvy divas.  Not just with accessories!  Do you do the same?  I literally change my nail color every week, yes, EVERY WEEK!  Why? Well, why not?!  No, seriously, I do it because it makes me feel good about myself, and it makes me happy, so indeed, why not?!

There were even colors I was trying to find, for example, Navy was one of them, and guess what I found the other day while browsing the Dollar Store aisle ...NAVY!!!!  Now, you might think to yourself, "The Dollar Store Aisle " To that I would again say...."Why not"?!!! You can find some really good brands and bargain at the Dollar Store, I've wrote about that before, look it up!

Purewow.com wrote an article featuring nail colors that were "..with flying colors"!  featuring "breakout colors for Spring" (could be Summer's too)!  I love their color choices as some of those colors are really gorgeous! Photos courtesy of purewow.com.

These are the Lavenders family!  I can't remember using actual Lavender, however, I've used purple, definitely one for me to try! These are some great brands too!

Teals are a great color-family!  For me, the "blues" are always a good choice!

These are in the Peach family!  Definitely great colors as well!  I've worn peach-family colors such as Corals, which I like a lot! I've gotten a new one that I will feature from my own collection (personal purchase)soon!

To see the other color choices featured for Spring, please go to the article-link below!

Window Shopping Part Deux - What I Chose

As you know from my last article , I went shopping for swimsuit with my teen Mandi and ended up doing the same for myself. After all, I was in need of a new bathing suit. My last purchase for one was from Target eight years ago! And also during that time, I was the lucky recipient of two new suits from my BSFFL (Best Sister Friend For Life) who visited from Europe! So Those have lasted quite a long time!

Backstage at OIFW Model Casting Call

On Saturday, yesterday in fact, I had the pleasure of attending a casting call for models , an event organized and hosted by Fierce Entertainment Management for their upcoming Orlando International Fashion Week, November  2-8, 2014 . Attendees at the event were welcomed by Fierce Entertainment's, Rob Henlon who then handed the program over to the vivacious Kristania Vielot who instructed the aspiring models for their walk down the runway, strutting their stuff for the designers and other members of the Fierce team. As the models strutted to the sound of the music-mix pumping, guests sipped and ate refreshments that were provided.   Before they walked the impromptu runway, I had a little  tête-à-tête   with three of the young models, Logan-9, Ashley-6 and Aiden-4,  beautiful, cute, and adorable , (who won't want me to call them that, but I am because they were) whose future will lead them to become what they dream of!   ...

Lacquered: Move over Glossy, Matte Nails are in!

In Purewow's Beauty section online, I read with interest that the new trend for nails this fall will be the matte finished,  as in shine-free!  Well move over glossy & shiny!  Remember curvy divas , there is matte makeup ; matte lipstick ; I even remember the matte finish jewelry trend , and now we have matte nail polishes!! Did you ever think that trend would be in nail polishes too?   According to Purewow, the Matte Finish not only comes as a nail polish, but also as a Top Coat! They recommend that we first try the top coat in matte finish to see if we like the look.  You can apply it over your regular nail color of the week and have matte-finished nails! Top Coat in Matte Finish SHOP The budget-friendly and cautious side of me agrees this would be a safe way to see if you do like the look (although at $19 each there's nothing cheap about it!) and just in case you don't want to splurge on every color in the line of matte finishes, I guess i...
