I am having trouble with posting from my mobile again. I just lost another post.....??!!!! I should have saved it before publishing....as well.  Anyway curvy divas, what are you up to tonight?  Whatever it is, wherever you will be ringing in the new year, do it safely and HAVE FUN !!! Whohooooo it's the eve to New Year's Eve curvy divas, are you ready to party?  Do you know where you will be? Wherever it is, you know your nails has got to be done! You can fit your nails in right before your hair salon visit.  Even better, you can do a self manicure. The different looks in nail polish has been trendy this year and i'm sure won't stop in 2014.  You have so many choices, from matte to glitter, and all the colors in between.  I say let's make our nails festive for our night out and go with glitter or even a pretty bright color!  For the holidays I had my nails in a bright Holiday Red. I wanted a different look for New Year's Eve and I did my nails (a self manicure)  and got inventive with my nail polish by using a soft - glittered pink and added red at the tips . I actually like it.  Bring your inner - creativity out and have fun with your nail looks !

I received a Victoria Secret's catalogue with some fantastic sales inside!  It has been a while since I received their catalogue and was glad to be on their list again. I saw these leggings and immediately loved them! They are called  Equestrian Ponte Leggings  and are in sizes small to extra large. I love the look. They are cotton spandex with faux leather.  I know Victoria Secret's can run larger, depending on the style and fit, which is what I love about their clothing. Mark you, not all of their styles are like that, just some, so yes, I will fit my curvy bod into it if they work for me. The model is super skinny, which is their ideal body-type of choice and that is so uncool, however I do plan on checking these leggings out so I am placing them on my "Want" list!

Wow....it's a few more minutes to go and I wanted to send a shout out to each of you, just in case you didn't get to my other blog to read my holiday greetings! I have always LOVED Issey Miyake's work. His sense of style, use of colors in his designs, and that also goes for the models on his runway!   I believe he does go up to an XL in his designs, at least in the Vintage Issey Miyake's he has.  Hmm, something to check out. It was almost time for me to get ready for Thanksgiving dinner at my daughter's house where she along with her fiance had prepared A feast for their invited guests.  I found myself knee-deep in my closet looking for an outfit that was not going to be overkill, or be too casual. Then I remembered my article about sweatshirts . ....(cue music) dun-dun-dun...I had the perfect outfit in mind!   The grey sweatshirt, lace-overlay skirt and necklace....I intended to re-create that look and I did!   I chose a lace-overlay black mini skirt with fringes , the type of fringe that moves when you do.   My grey sweatshirt that I've gotten so much "wear" out of since having it, a pair of black leggings , and my accessories were, a pair of tall boots , a silver statement choker necklace , silver hoops , my silver anniversary ring , and a flowered two-fingered style statement ring .
