It was almost time for me to get ready for Thanksgiving dinner at my daughter's house where she along with her fiance had prepared A feast for their invited guests. I found myself knee-deep in my closet looking for an outfit that was not going to be overkill, or be too casual.
Then I remembered my article about sweatshirts.....(cue music) dun-dun-dun...I had the perfect outfit in mind! The grey sweatshirt, lace-overlay skirt and necklace....I intended to re-create that look and I did! I chose a lace-overlay black mini skirt with fringes, the type of fringe that moves when you do. My grey sweatshirt that I've gotten so much "wear" out of since having it, a pair of black leggings, and my accessories were, a pair of tall boots, a silver statement choker necklace, silver hoops, my silver anniversary ring, and a flowered two-fingered style statement ring.

Tall black "pirate" boots. When I put them on over the leggings, they looked like tights - perfect! |
