Best High Heels Shoe Hack Everrrrr

I love high heels as you know curvy divas and I can't stand it when they are uncomfortable. Why should something so gorgeous and necessary be so uncomfortable?! Little did I realize that a simple trick lies between me and comfort! It's all in the placement of the heels. The width of the heels and the base/support part of the shoe. I must say I had this down prior but did not realize it. Yes, my comfort heels that I can walk in all day are like the 3cm. The heels that I loved and purchase but never sees the light of day are like the 2cm.  No wonder! What a simple and "neat" idea! # simplicityinstyling

In Support of Peace - Viva Frances

I had no idea what happened last Friday until I got home.  Being inside at work all day, with only an hour rushing out to grab a bite and walking around leaves one in a cocoon of sorts with only immediate "stuff" on the mind. French Flag I was shocked, frightened, angry and sad all at the same time.  I have readership from this great country and love to see my Stats showing this. Even as I write this, I have a few who are still stopping by to read with me. Not only that, but on a personal note, one of my very best and dearest sister friend is French and I cannot express how awful this is for her, as it is for the entire world, and everyone.

Revelling in Rebelution

By now you have heard that Torrid is in a fashion collaboration with Australian Actress and Comedienne, Rebel Wilson.  If you love comedy and movies you will know she is from the very popular Pitch Perfect , Bride's Maid , and Night at the Museum movies.  I like that whatever anyone says about her and her body type, she does not let it bother her.  I have seen her in full body tights, pleather and even in her underwear. Her confidence is totally curvilicious! Rebel's Scuba Style Flare Dress - Skirt in background Whenever she makes appearances I am always interested to see what she wears.  Over the years her style has evolved, as does anyone's, who discovers and develops their own style sense.   So learning about her collaboration with one of my favorite fashion haunts, Torrid...what a match made in curvy-land!

What Not to do to your Shoes

According to  Author, Nicole Akhtarzad on whowhatwear.com , there are worst things you can do to your shoes; that is, things you absolutely should not be doing.  Let's face it, most women, myself included are shoe-o-holics! Personally, I don't know what it is about shoes that let's me melt when I see a lovely pair that is constructed with the most gracious care, and a silhouette that makes you swoon. ASOS on a Roll Laced Up Shoes I. Love. Shoes.  No wonder I had to name this section...articles about shoes.... Oh My Shoegasm ! The one thing I do dislike, shoes that hurt my feet.  And let me tell you, as a flat-footed maven, I hobble if the shoes are not comfortable.  I have some issues that I will have to visit a podiatrist about...due to running...and yes, I still love to run...go figure!  Let me not drift this convo anymore...let's get back to shoes.  Check out our fan page on Facebook , I posted a link on what you should do so your heels don't hurt .  H

Oh My Shoegasm! Do We Need Over-the-Knees Boots?

Tis the season for boots. Short ones, booties, ankle-length ones, and extra tall ones! The extra talls (as I call them) are the over-the-knees type that I have been seeing for several seasons now but not brave enough to wear one.  I have never owned one, and as a fashion blogger I have never tried one on.   Bell Thigh High Boots as seen on Keep However, after reading the Keep article and seeing all the fabulous photos of some gorgeous choices of these tall legends, I'm nodding my head and saying, "Yes"  because I need an over the knees boots! Take a look at the article linked below and see if you feel the same way.  Visit Keep online at:   https://keep.com/op-advice-over-the-knee-boots-by-keepblog/c/BGZ4XJcAAX6 /

Balmain X H&M Collaboration

Draped Silk Skirt - SOLD OUT It's not as if I didn't know there wouldn't be any sizes to fit my curvy bod, but I was hoping.  I was also hoping for size 11 shoes. No such luck!  I'm lucky that I can fit an XL or even up to a size Medium in most better brands.  I know some of my curvy divas or not that lucky. The one thing that I have noticed though is that the prices for the collaboration between Balmain & H&M is actually pretty good.  For those who don't mind spending a little more, they go from high, $299 and up; and those who don't want to break their pockets, from $99 and below.   That's pretty reasonable for most people's budget!
