You have seen a lot of these lately curvy divas, men with beards.  Is that man with the beard doing it just for a fashionable manstyle look; or is there more to it than that?  Idris Elba  in a Goatee Did you know, in November, aka Movember , sometimes even beginning in the month of September, some men grow a beard and don't shave in awareness of prostrate & testicular cancer.  They do this to raise funds to support the research and bring even more awareness to men's health.   There are also some musicians and athlete who will sport a full beard for this cause.  Lately though, I've seen these full beards on non-celebrity men, going about their daily lives.  While some men like a goatee, the trend is a full on beard for many.  Here's a thought, do you think men with beards are sexy?

As we continue to live in our world, there are many innovative companies who are trying to make a difference in our lives by doing what so many of us as individuals are learning to do, recycle, reuse and repurpose.   They are known to be Social Entrepreneurs that is, environmentally friendly, sustainable companies who seek to make a difference in their communities and the world, while earning a profit. Where there are sustainable companies, there are often sustainable designers.  One such designer of a men's clothing line is Joshua Katcher of Brave Gentlemen .  Mr. Katcher creates a line of vegan menswear that is, according to the socially aware online company Chivas (theventure.com),  known to be both "luxurious and ethical".

This terminology slipped by me last summer.  OK, I admit it, I fell asleep at the wheel and didn't feature a lot on the blog last year.  Do you want to know a day in the life of me?  Nope, you have to go over to D-foreverserenity for that.  Our platform is fashion and all the fashionable news and information we can find. Trends, celebrate our curves, and let's not forget our men! I have always enjoyed looking at the many actresses who attend these grand award shows.  However, looking at how the men are "turnt out", is becoming quite an artform.  I like to see whether they made it a point to match what their other half wore by having the same color suit, tie, or even pocket square. At this year's Academy Awards, a.k.a. The Oscars, the actors did not disappoint, they were dressed in their tuxedos and made for some very dashing "tall drinks of water" walking on the Red Carpet before the show. Most actors would wear black, navy or white.  Very few would go boldly where few men want to go, wearing vibrant colors.  David Oyelowo was such a man! The men at the 20th Grammy Awards did not disappoint at all, at least for me.  Their fashion sense were quite eclectic.  From the suited up, to the whimsical, to no ties aka "Air Ties", to the rocker look. Sam Smith, made a big sweep winning for almost all the category's he was in....did he win them all?  Unsure, but he was dressed to impress in a white bow tie tuxedo.  Notice the shawl collar lapel, and the longer cuffs at the sleeves.  I actually like the slight flaring which gives his suit an edgier look. 2 015 Grammy Awards Winner Sam Smith Photo by WENN as seen on Yahoo Style Singer Tom Jones looked handsome and dapper, showing the younger dudes how to dress!  I like that he wasn't afraid of the bold color. H&M has a new campaign called " Go Green - wear blue, Conscious Denim by H&M" - ( colors my own design ) .   Firstly, you know how much I love H&M curvy divas , they are so on point with their style looks, even for us curvy divas, and they are so into sustainability and our environment. I love conscious retailers ! Before the style and look of the clothing caught my eye, their male model, well, he had me from the minute I clicked on the link in my email!  I know, I'm so one-track-sided....lol! I love my clothing fashionable and cute, like my men...kidding!!!lol! Let's just say I pinned him and his looks er style on my Manstyle board on Pinterest before I did this write up! I'm glad that I don't have to wear a tie, ever.   Although I did have a very bright yellow clip on tie that was very stylish and I used to wear it, back in the days!   However, I do have men in my life that have to wear one from time to time.  And I do have sort of an idea of how to tie one on...I've tried in the past, when my son was younger, thank heavens hubby came to my rescue and taught him how to! The 86th Academy Awards aka The Oscars , also popularly trended on Twitter as Oscars2014 and other aliases, hosted by one of my favorite entertainer, Ellen DeGeneres, has fast become one of my favorite award shows so far this year. Did you watch curvy divas?  I even watched the stars appearances on the Red Carpet before the show.   While everyone will be focusing on who wore the best gown, my focus is who wore the best tuxedo!
