Curvy Looks: Bralleluia - When your Bras make you Sing

It has been a while since I wrote about foundation garments .  One such garment is what almost every woman needs in her closet, the Bra.   Much like a swimsuit, or a great fitting jeans, finding a good bra can be quite challenging .  When we find one, either the cup is OK, but the back is not.  Or the straps sucks because it chafes and is too tight across your shoulders.   Sometimes just getting "the girls" into the right fitted cup can be challenging.  Who wants to be wearing a bra where the under-wire is cutting in your skin?  No one!   Bali's Satin Tracings Minimizer Bra - Photo courtesy of Freshpair.com I have these and they are one of the best I've worn so far! This is where my dear curvy divas, having a good fitting bra is so important.  When you know the right size to buy, this helps a lot.  You do know that you can get yourself fitted for a bra right?  Hey, if you watch those gorgeous ladies on Lifetime's the D...

Seven Things You SHOULD Wear on a Plane

Last year I wrote an article with suggestions about what you should not wear on a plane, you know, when you're travelling! You will want to wear clothing that is not only comfortable, but that will liter...

Plus Size Hair Salons?

When I saw the above loosely titled from the article I read on allure.com , my interest was peaked!   A hair salon for plus sized women?  Say what now? I wondered to myself!  I'm not sure how I feel about this?  I can understand going to the gym , as the author of the article mentioned, feeling weird being amongst the svelte, skinny-types and feel as if you're a lamb going to slaughter (at least in my head), and being more comfortable in a gym with women of my size, but at a hair salon? Hmmm, trying to visualize.. walk with me curvy divas ....walking into said plus sized hair salon and either you're the only one there, or there are only women size 14 and up there. While there's nothing aesthetically wrong with that picture, because we love our curvy divas, however, would that make you comfortable?  Personally, when I go to a hair salon, I want to see what the stylists are doing with other people's hair, I'm not too worried about what body type the customers...
