New York Fashion Week (NYFW) 2015 came in and went out like lightning!  We always love the fabulous styles and fashion showcased for the world to see.  I usually love to do what is normal and look for the people who look like us on the Catwalk. Are they curvy, any type of plus sizes on that runway?  Hmmm...inquiring minds wants to know! Model wearing design from the recent Project Runway Finale Fashion show I was pleased to find out that there was a very unique event that occurred on September 11 at NYFW. Have you ever watched Project Runway on Lifetime Television?  It's one of my favorite programs, and one I must confess I don't indulge in as much as I used to.  But I do enjoy watching it when I do. Well curvy divas, guess what?  One of the designers from the current Season 14 was the lucky presenter of their fashion at the show's NYFW Finale production.  Because there is a designer whose designs are geared for us curvy divas, there was speculation that the designs

Did you catch the Emmy's this year?  That is one of television's moments where the actors and actresses are recognized for the fabulous work they do on the small screen aka television. As what usually occurs, the stars walk the Red Carpet where they are interviewed by other television news and fashion personalities. Actress Viola Davis with her Emmy!! ( photo credit  Jordan Strauss/InvisionAP) ( an honorable mention because it is so well-deserved ) Some of the fashions that made me think "Fierce" or made me go "Wow" as they went down the Red Carpet were so awesome it brought me to a fierce fashion moment!   Because it is TGIF, yeah, are you singing "Thank God Its Friday" yet?  Here on the blog we are; let's take a look at two fabulous stars who wore their fashion fiercely and didn't care:

Have you felt that change in the air? Do you have that feeling of summer being over? It is a resounding "Yes" and "Yes" to both questions isn't it curvy divas? While the calendar has not officially announced the end of Summer which comes in a few calendar days. The air is not as humid and Labor Day holiday has come and gone. Those are usually my markers to begin looking to Fall aka Autumn.

I love it when I see diversity at play in the media. We are so use to seeing the same vision for each magazines, "the type" that have been showcased month after month, and year after year on the covers of their publications.  It was wonderful to see September issues of major magazines featuring African American celebrities, singers and models as their cover feature.   What made it so special you may wonder? Well, it wasn't Black History Month. There were more than one magazines, and not just the usual Black magazine who did this. While Ebony Magazine , an African American publication would usually feature celebs and/or entertainers, they featured a bevy of beautiful models on their cover! The diversity in the models showed the diversity in our Race too and was beautiful to see. I hoped there would be a Plus sized model included, but alas.
