Fierce Fashion Friday: Curvilious at the 2015 Emmy's

Did you catch the Emmy's this year?  That is one of television's moments where the actors and actresses are recognized for the fabulous work they do on the small screen aka television. As what usually occurs, the stars walk the Red Carpet where they are interviewed by other television news and fashion personalities.

 Some of the fashions that made me think "Fierce" or made me go "Wow" as they went down the Red Carpet were so awesome it brought me to a fierce fashion moment!  Because it is TGIF, yeah, are you singing "Thank God Its Friday" yet?  Here on the blog we are; let's take a look at two fabulous stars who wore their fashion fiercely and didn't care:

I love actress Danielle Brooks colorful maxi dress.  What do they always warn us curvy divas not to do?  Wear maxis!  For the life of me I can't think why.  Maxis are a great look for us.  If it is too long, the best thing to do is have it hemmed. A curvy diva in a long full gown, or maxi dress is a sight to behold and we always feel so confident because we look good!  The next thing, avoid too much color!  Nope, and nope.  Doesn't Danielle look awesome in this dress?  I think so too.  Wear your colors divas, anyway you want to.  Just be sure to choose styles that looks well on you.

Actress Christina Hendrix is rocking out this curvilicious dress.  It has glitter, patterns, and is also long. It gives a great decolletage, which many of us will have "the girls" looking great in a style like this.  It fits her curves to a "T"!  The fact that it's all blinged out, not a problem and perfect for the occasion!  I love the illusion of this dress because it gives quite a few style-looks that makes it even more appropriate.

 As I have always said, it is better to follow your instincts for what is good for you.   Be. You! As I always am. Don't you agree that these fit into the category of

Wearing Red

It's Valentine's Day again and I'm sure many of you curvy divas are wondering what to wear tonight?  Some of us have plans, but others will keep it low keyed at home...or not! Whatever you do curvy divas, I found some great suggestions on Elle.com!  They featured RED , in everything, accessories, clothing, make up, even underwear!  Here are my favorite picks! I LOVE this dress! The silhouette is beautiful and will flatter most body types!  I checked and this item doesn't go larger than a size 12 by the designer, and they are out of this style at Neiman Marcus, however, it's a great look and you can find something similar elsewhere!  If it is too long, find a shorter length. Happy Blogoversary Fabulously Curvy - Year Three!
