I didn't see that many full figured styles, that is size 14 and over on the Red Carpet this year at the Golden Globes Award.  One of the few I did notice is one of my favorites, Actress Melissa McCarthy who wore her own design.

Have you heard the news curvy divas?  Lilly Pullitzer the fabulous icon of all things print and pattern beautiful will be the next designer capsule collaboration at Target. At the end of the summer last year, while shopping at my local Target and not "feeling" the style-looks that greeted me, I inquired about the next collaboration and was told there would be none for a while.  Guess what; it is happening soon, sometime this spring, on April 19, 2015. There are two things to note though, the first is those ladies who are oh so major spenders of the brand is not liking the Target collaboration.  They believe their brand is taking a step down from their high-end market to put themselves out there to the masses at large.  Um, I'm going to leave that alone as my comment may not be that nice. I love wearing nail polish on my fingers and toes. I went an entire week without self-pampering...one of my guilty pleasures before the start of my work week! My daughter, Amanda decided she would treat me to some pampering and painted my fingers and toes for me! She started out with my feet, dabbing a really pretty coral-orange color from the Sinful Colors professional line called Summer Peach , on my toes. What a gorgeous color which so reminds me of warm summer days! She then used one of the prettiest pink I've seen in a while, Bikini, also from the Sinful Color brand! (sidenote - Bikini was her birthday treat to me recently)! A Top Coat and then Glitter nail color were applied....Glitter is her favorite! If you do nothing else this Spring and Summer curvy divas , add new nail colors to your wardrobe!

When you see something that "jumps" out at you when you're shopping curvy divas , do you purchase it?   Or do you try it on, think about it and then go back to get it?  I have to get it!  Once I take it off the rack, try it on in the fitting room and it "speaks" to me....well, it's a must have! My recent post, "Love or Leave It?" about that pink and white Jennifer Lopez color block dress... I didn't leave it and I do LOVE it!  I decided that I would wear it to Christmas dinner at my oldest daughter's house.   I just didn't know what to pair it with because not only was it cold in Orlando that day , it has a white top, supposed I spilled something on it; and I'm not feeling particularly "thin" at the moment, so I didn't want to have a "puffy" look in the dress! I love shopping at Kohl's. The fact that they carry clothing for every member of my family, the one-stop shopping is oh so convenient!   I always make a beeline for their sale rack because you can get the best bargains!  Another thing that I love about Kohl's curvy divas , not just their prices, but the fact that they carry plus sized fashion !  I was looking around online at kohls.com and saw one of my recent purchase, the sweater dress below: Apt. 9 Empire Cowl-neck Sweater Dress - $34.00 on Sale!
