On Stylehog.com, I saw this June 2011 issue of Vogue Italia and read.... Three Plus-Size Models Land the Cover of  Vogue  Italia:  Italian  Vogue  featured three plus-size models, Tara Lynn, Candice Huffine and Robyn Lawley, http://www.stylehog.com/news-vogue-italia-does-plus-size-cfdas-best-dressed/ I've often heard that curvy girls are very much adored in Italy.  Is this true?  If so I like that curvy divas! Italy, here I come one day!lol!   I always enjoy reading magazines, and enjoy seeing full-figured women on the cover!  Hurrah for regular size women, and an even bigger shout out with glee to see full-figured women on the cover of Vogue Italia! What do you think about this? Which other "mainstream" magazines (not geared towards plus size) have you seen featured plus size models on their cover?

In March of 2012 before I decided to create this blog, I shared my love for Vogue magazine on my d-foreverserenity blog with the article I am super-imposing below. I have this "thing" for magazines. I won't say obsession...I love the glossy pages, the colors, and usually read them from cover to cover....! I had so many magazines piled up, I had to get rid of them...and yes, regretted it the minute I did! Anyway, I'm so glad there are online choices now!!!! Takes up less place in my bedroom!lol! I have saved some of my favorite issues, and shared some style inspiration and observation below. These were my  favorite looks from a  Vogue  magazine issue from August 2006 , six years ago in the past, I know, but I have tons of mags and I love  flipping  through the pages!  These  looks are so fresh today !!  Vogue  featured the color combination of  "The  Red  is the new Black" - red being the new black at the time! I will not even pretend that I kept up with this year's fashion week!  I saw a few articles, heard about a few mentions, received a lot of emails on the different shows....but I just won't pretend that I had time to write about anything! I couldn't make time to even focus on other aspects of the fashion week! But you know what curvy divas , I will do some post-opts on the week that was New York fashion at later dates in the future! I don't feel a cold wind coming my way...not yet but I'm in Sunny Florida after all! Did you know that Fashion's Night Out (FNO) happened all over the World last week curvy divas ?  It did!   Fashion's Night Out originated in 2009 because of the hard economic times being experienced not just by the retailers in the fashion industry, but by many consumers as well!   The first events held in New York at that time was done to encourage people to shop thereby increasing sales for retailers and the fashion industry .  One of FNO's biggest sponsor is a favorite magazine of mine, Vogue !  In New York, Fashion's Night Out culminates with New York's Fall Fashion Week! Countries such as Australia, Mexico, Portugal and The United Kingdom are among the many that do participate in what is now an Annual fashionista of events!  Retailers and other fashionable establishments held events in their countries. I also love that monies from these events go to different charities as well! To see a list of the countries that participated...
