Over the past four years I have learned to love my hair, and in doing so, I have learned to love me.  There have been times when I really disliked the way my hair looked. Not because it was ugly. Because I couldn't get it to do what I wanted to do with my hair. It wouldn't get super straight, or as thin as some of my friends.  It would get so frizzy when wet, I didn't like being caught in the rain.  

I have done it again curvy divas , found the perfect red color for my natural hair. I'm LOVING IT!!!!  I've shared my "fascination" with red hair and how I have been trying to find the perfect red over the years.   Last summer I took the plunge and bleached my hair to get the color I want to "take" to my natural tresses.  As I noted before, taking care of my hair, using no other chemicals allowed me to be able to do this.  So if you don't want to go that route of bleaching your hair to achieve the color you want, I recommend you use a semi-permanent rinse and see how it will look on you.  With a semi permanent rinse it washes out after a few shampoos.   You might not get the same effect , however if you continue to use it over time, with care, you will have a hint of red that you will love!   Be sure to go to your hair stylist and seek their professional help when you decide to take the plunge!  For now, I'm loving my hair,...

By now you already know what I wear depends on my mood curvy divas , and in some circumstances where I am going, and what I will be doing.  This goes without saying that my hair is no different.   My hair style depends on what I wear, where I'm going, and for the most part, do I have time to fix it into any desired styles! Yes, the demanding life of any mom can be very hectic. Inspite of all that I have to do, and factoring in the "age factor", my one guilty pleasure to myself is to always look the best I can at all times.  Mind you, there have been some "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" moments.  But those are few and far between. I love my hair and having fun with styling is a part of my routine. It has been approximately three  or four years since I have not relaxed my hair.   Relaxed as you  may know curvy divas, means using a chemical hair cream to straighten my hair .   It has been a long journey to where I am now with my hair being healthy, strong and beautiful. I took the plunge last summer and made my hair tbe color it is today and I have not regretted it! In the coming weeks, on a Wednesday, I will feature the various hair-looks I have had in the last four years , oh boy, has it been many!! A gentleman in my office often compliments my hair and marvels at the variety of looks my hair can do!lol!  I have to say I agree with him. I have twisted, blown out, curled, and worn up-do's. I sometimes wear hair accessories too, why not have fun with my 'Fro? !   :-)   .
