How many swim suits do you own curvy divas?  One, two...five?!  Or perhaps you only own one because it's only hot in your neck of the woods, for two or three months out of the year?  Well, whatever it is, don't you think it's time you bought new swim suits? Personally speaking, the last time I purchased a new bathing suit was five years ago!!!! Eeek!!!!  I haven't bought anything else because I've been waiting to lose the weight and get more toned....! ~sigh~ Let's table my fitness quest for now and focus on looking at new swim suits - Yeeeeaaahh!  Bettina Prophete  featured swim suits that will be perfect for our curvy bodies in a photo montage entitled, "In The Swim"! in Essence Magazine online . These days, it seems the designs of some are getting more risque! There is sexy, and then there is OMG...what?!  Take a look at the swimsuit below from an article I read on Frisky.com. Winona Dimeo-Ediger shared a couple of swimsuits she simply doesn't want, and I quite agree with her, in an article titled " Do Not Want: The Stand-Perfectly-Still-Or-Else Swimsuit" .   Do you think an item like this is made for actually physical activity such as swimming?  Ummm, I don't think so!  This beautiful lady would be sitting and tanning...and drinking cocktails! If you are able to pull off a look like this, go for it!  However, do remember, if you're going to be overexposed due to a "nip-slip", well, don't wear it! Wow!   It looks like a fun suit to wear, and the design is definitely very much geared to hit our assets in the right places!  Would you wear it?  I think I just might! I'm not sure I'm liking the name "Fatkini", are you?   However, owning our bodies and what we love about ourselves is always a good thing, so the name stands! (as if!) It's July, can you believe it?  JULY!!!! Summer is in full swing.  I know we have been having some rain, here in Florida, but even the rain comes to a stop eventually.  Close your eyes and picture this, the bluest sky you've ever seen, the sun is shining, the temperature is just so perfect, with a gentle wind blowing at you,  the ocean is as inviting as it can be, you skip over the sand and run to the water!
