I've Got the Rompers Fever!

The last pair you saw me in, rompers that is, were the Milly DesigNation ones.  I loved them.  I was window shopping, didn't get them.  My loss!  I admittedly said I wouldn't wear them out but at home, because for me, they were cute but too short. I do LOVE them! I found another pair that were just as cute. They buttoned down the front, had cap sleeves, and were two inches longer.  The black and white pattern were so stylish!  The cap sleeves had epaulets!

Wear Red Day

On February 1, 2013, the first Friday in the month of February (any Year), the American Heart Association honored that day in support of the fight against heart disease in women .  Heart disease in anyone is bad, however, the focus is in women because for us, most times we don't realize that we're having a heart attack when it does happen.  That is why it is known as the "silent killer" for many women.  To find out more about the American Heart Association's activities and year-long focus, please do go to the Go Red for Women website here: Sometimes I'm in the mood for some color to brighten up my day.   I love pink as you know curvy divas , however, another go-to color of mine is the color RED ! I love wearing red because of how it makes me feel, confident, bright, and I'm always complimented on how good I look in it! (so vain right?! No, it is okay to feel good about yourself!) Here's one of my favorite looks of the day when I wear red! P...

Victoria Beckham Loves Our Curvy Bodies

I've always liked Victoria Beckham since her days as Posh Spice.  Because of my oldest daughter Jessica, I've loved the Spice Girls from their beginnings (and still do)!  I liked Victoria even more when she married one of the hottest guys in Soccer, David Beckham ~drool~! Then she became a designer and I liked her fashion sense!  Her designs are pretty much out of most budget friendly fashionista's reach.  But it doesn't hurt to love her style! I also found out she does make clothing for the curvy woman! Isn't that great curvy divas ?! I love her look in the outfit below . Those boots were definitely made for walking! Oh and by the way, that belt. ..I see her in it everywhere because it works with everything; and you know what?   I want one too! Here's Oprah in her design: Here's Jennifer Hudson in her design: To read the glamour.com article please copy and paste this link into your browser: http://www.glamour.com/fashion/b...

Leggings

I love leggings and   despite what the other folks out there in the sizes 0 - 12 world may think and they always opine, there's nothing wrong with a curvy diva in leggings!  It's always been a cringe worthy moment when I hear comments like "women that size shouldn't wear leggings" or "leggings are not pants and should not be worn by themselves"! While I agree somewhat with the latter quote, I do say "yes" we can wear leggings! Personally, I prefer to wear leggings with tunics or with dresses that are shorter.  I am more comfortable wearing them with leggings.  What I do not like seeing curvy divas, is a woman in leggings paired with short, tight tee-shirt.  Most time the leggings are too thin and there will be a glimpse of butt crack! Seriously, stop that!  It is always good to look in the mirror at your backside before you jaunt off on your adventure.  Be sure to look at yourself in outside lighting (standing by a window), not just wh...
