Best High Heels Shoe Hack Everrrrr

I love high heels as you know curvy divas and I can't stand it when they are uncomfortable. Why should something so gorgeous and necessary be so uncomfortable?! Little did I realize that a simple trick lies between me and comfort! It's all in the placement of the heels. The width of the heels and the base/support part of the shoe. I must say I had this down prior but did not realize it. Yes, my comfort heels that I can walk in all day are like the 3cm. The heels that I loved and purchase but never sees the light of day are like the 2cm.  No wonder! What a simple and "neat" idea! # simplicityinstyling

What Not to do to your Shoes

According to  Author, Nicole Akhtarzad on whowhatwear.com , there are worst things you can do to your shoes; that is, things you absolutely should not be doing.  Let's face it, most women, myself included are shoe-o-holics! Personally, I don't know what it is about shoes that let's me melt when I see a lovely pair that is constructed with the most gracious care, and a silhouette that makes you swoon. ASOS on a Roll Laced Up Shoes I. Love. Shoes.  No wonder I had to name this section...articles about shoes.... Oh My Shoegasm ! The one thing I do dislike, shoes that hurt my feet.  And let me tell you, as a flat-footed maven, I hobble if the shoes are not comfortable.  I have some issues that I will have to visit a podiatrist about...due to running...and yes, I still love to run...go figure!  Let me not drift this convo anymore...let's get back to shoes.  Check out our fan page on Facebook , I posted a link on what you should do so your heels d...

Oh My Shoegasm! Do We Need Over-the-Knees Boots?

Tis the season for boots. Short ones, booties, ankle-length ones, and extra tall ones! The extra talls (as I call them) are the over-the-knees type that I have been seeing for several seasons now but not brave enough to wear one.  I have never owned one, and as a fashion blogger I have never tried one on.   Bell Thigh High Boots as seen on Keep However, after reading the Keep article and seeing all the fabulous photos of some gorgeous choices of these tall legends, I'm nodding my head and saying, "Yes"  because I need an over the knees boots! Re-post: Bondage ~ Fabulously Curvy

To continue in the theme of my Christmas re-posts curvy divas. When I wrote today's linked article, Bondage, the title was quite tongue-in-cheek, but quite apt because of what I was wearing! Yep, it had me in total ~shoegasm~ and made my inner shoe-goddess squeal with pleasure! LOL! I'll stop being a tease. I love playing with words! hahahahaha... but you already know that! Seriously though, the shoes I wrote about in the link below were totally worth it and I'm so happy I bought them.  I made sure all the links in the article still work ~whew!  If you love your style, and are unafraid to be yourself, HURRAH!  Being your authentic self is so important. NO matter what anyone else thinks.  Your style and fashion is who you are.   Follow the link and let me know if you would wear these types of shoes, (or, have you ever worn bondage clothing - the article is not about the clothing style - but what a great discussion to come), and if you have ever worn a...

Not your regular Re-post: Fancy Shoes for Christmas

I hope you had a fabulous time with your families curvy divas. This article was written a year ago. However, I didn't publish it here.  It was actually supposed to be published elsewhere and never got seen.  I'm adding it to my re-post list, especially because it is the perfect season!  The shoes in the previous write up were from last year and are no longer available at Macy's.  Not to worry, Macy's had some great replacements! With Christmas around the corner, let's talk shoes. At this time of the year, we look for more dressy-type shoes with a bit of added sparkles to complete our holiday style.  Here are some great finds from Macy's. Glitter and sparkles are quite the trend and these type of shoes can be worn with basic black, or even your dressed up holiday red. Foot Cam

You know what curvy divas ?  Sometimes I think I have a lot of shoes. Then when I look at what I've been wearing over the last couple of months, I realized that I'm just not wearing all of the shoes I do own. I tend to go for the ones I like more often; read comfort!   If there's nothing else we want is to have a great looking pair of heels, and if they could be comfortable too , well....that would make my year!   If I do remember to do it, I like taking a photo of the shoes I wear when I'm all dressed up! These are candid shots, no photo shopping to clean anything up!   Yep, I need more new shoes now!

Shoes, Fabulous Shoes!

There's nothing like a great pair of shoes that finishes an outfit.  You can have on the most darling outfit, but if you don't have the right shoes to go with it, well, somehow you end up feeling like, "Meh", to quote the perfect noncommittal, blah expression! Men of the world, there's one thing you must know, shoes makes the outfit, that's why we women have a variety of  them! In  my quest for nude-colored shoes this season, here are two looks I love from Elle.com "Best Spring Heels" feature. Suede wide-strap wedges from the Gap - $89.99 [Mark  Platt photo] You can never go wrong with Platforms!  If you love having a high heel without the stilts, wedges are the way to go! Paulina Cork Sandal heels from Bebe - $98.00 [Mark Platt photo] Although the linked article is from last year, the color and style are pretty on point for today's look!  The height of the heel is balanced by the platform at the base of the shoe.  Take ...
