On my Style Want List for 2015 is a jumpsuit.  The jumpsuit became very popular again and it is a look that is still around today. I have seen so many different styles and would like to have one that will fit me perfectly. I walked into  Kohl's the other day and saw an extra large poster of Jennifer Lopez wearing a jumpsuit that made me sigh and whispered "wow".  JLO was wearing the heck out of that jumpsuit.  of course having a stylist and great lighting made it even better!lol! I decided to try on the two I liked the best, one black and the other a black & white print, both JLO's design.   While the black jumpsuit was attractive, and I loved the pockets, the fit wasn't what I liked. I felt it had too much going on.   The waist was gathered elastic band, with a self string, and the bodice was a deep V neckline with a small hook for modesty.  It was a jersey cotton material but it wasn't a great fit for me. In Purewow's Beauty section online, I read with interest that the new trend for nails this fall will be the matte finished,  as in shine-free!  Well move over glossy & shiny!  Remember curvy divas , there is matte makeup ; matte lipstick ; I even remember the matte finish jewelry trend , and now we have matte nail polishes!! Did you ever think that trend would be in nail polishes too?   According to Purewow, the Matte Finish not only comes as a nail polish, but also as a Top Coat! They recommend that we first try the top coat in matte finish to see if we like the look.  You can apply it over your regular nail color of the week and have matte-finished nails! It seems there are some people with habits that are getting some retailers upset.  There are some stores that do not like their customers return habits.  There are some consumers out there curvy divas, who buy an item, wear it, and return to the store.   They do this over and over again, so much so that they are now on the "radar" of the store's management! These stores are now changing their return policies for customer's who constantly return stuff.  So it is not only because the customer have worn a garment and returned it, but just because they buy and return, and buy and return.....possibly, more than two times in a given month.  According to the article I read on Refinery29.com ,  some stores are now "compiling data on customers who often purchase and return items, even if they do so at different stores.  Information about you will go into a database where other stores who are part of whatever organization or linke...

As the really hot summer weather is coming up soon curvy divas , your minds will drift off to vacation-time and seeing the ocean might be in your travel plans!  I love going to the beach. I sit on the sand, play with my daughter and run into the sea, a lot!  I also like walking on the sand where the waves will roll around my feet...hmmm, I can just imagine it now! One of the things that I dislike about the beach however, is getting sand in my hair...yes, I know that's a given and I tolerate it if and when it happens.  I also don't like having dry salt water for too long on my skin because of the dryness & itch that ensues! The Fashionistas in New York are gearing up for another big fashion-week of events in their world!  Twitter is chirping with news about the upcoming New York Fashion Week   curvy divas !   There are big give-a-ways going on, #allaccesskors , #sephoragiveaway ~!  All out media online, and print access with news even before the events begin; fabsugar.com, refinery29.com and W Magazine , to name a few! I've not even ventured over to some of the popular fashion blogs to see their take yet!  Ooh la la!   But I'm going to take my seat front and center, from anywhere I sit....watching fashion reviews on FashionTV on You Tube!   Don't forget London's Fashion Week will be next week as well!  So much to see! I'm keeping my eyes peeled for fashion for us too!

I love lace.  It's a very versatile style and look that can be worn with almost anything ...in fact, I can't think of anything that lace cannot be used with and it would look bad!   You can dress it up, or dress it down. You can wear lace with leather, jeans, cotton, even sweats! The best lace to own are those lacy lingerie! I've always liked Victoria Beckham since her days as Posh Spice.  Because of my oldest daughter Jessica, I've loved the Spice Girls from their beginnings (and still do)!  I liked Victoria even more when she married one of the hottest guys in Soccer, David Beckham ~drool~! Then she became a designer and I liked her fashion sense!  Her designs are pretty much out of most budget friendly fashionista's reach.  But it doesn't hurt to love her style! Are you feeling it yet?   That cold breeze nipping at you that makes you shiver~brrr~? Although I live in Florida curvy divas , it does get cooler here too.  Sometimes it gets really cold!  It has gotten as cold as 34 degrees, and for this warm weather climate, THAT is COLD!  Although I've lived in a colder climate before, I haven't lived in an extended cold climate for 10 years now. I discovered a new website with some great fashionable clothing. Unfortunately they only go up to a size 14! To be honest though, I'm kinda tired of these designers and websites that only offer me accessories when their clothing is so chic and I can't fit them!
