It seems there are some people with habits that are getting some retailers upset. There are some stores that do not like their customers return habits. There are some consumers out there curvy divas, who buy an item, wear it, and return to the store. They do this over and over again, so much so that they are now on the "radar" of the store's management!
These stores are now changing their return policies for customer's who constantly return stuff. So it is not only because the customer have worn a garment and returned it, but just because they buy and return, and buy and return.....possibly, more than two times in a given month.
According to the article I read on Refinery29.com, some stores are now "compiling data on customers who often purchase and return items, even if they do so at different stores. Information about you will go into a database where other stores who are part of whatever organization or linked-data, will be able to probably "tag" you!
Do you think this is fair to you as a consumer divas? I do understand the retailers actions having been on that end of the spectrum in retail management before; and let me tell you, there were some pretty bad offenders back then! I do think that if they are going to do this, they should be careful that they do not unfairly tag the wrong customer who might just not be able to make up her mind when shopping. I would love your thoughts on this!
