It is what you do when you're bored, but you want to "go out and do something" and you have no money to shop because of one reason or another!  Back in the day, yes, that was the terminology, and it still stands.  However, it is also a fun way to wile away the day !  And now I'm adding a new meaning, it's a way to look at what's in style now ! So you walk the Mall and have a look at today's fashion! Which is what Amanda and I did a short time ago! At Old Navy we were drawn to: Hats are in season for the Summer! (You recognize this photo?) You know curvy divas , in this world of blogging you have to put yourself out there.  You have to get around the blogosphere and introduce "yourself" to all the others who have paved the way for you.  As a n up and coming fashion blog for us curvy plus sized divas , I'm getting to know my way around.  While I'm not new to the blog world, I have a personal blog where I share my views and my reality on a regular basis, but the dream  to have a fashion blog  with the fabulously curvy in mind, has always been there and though this genre can be an intimidating world because there are so many experts out there, I decided to jump right into the pool!  I decided to treat this blog the way I do my personal blog, by just being me , and with fingers crossed, hopefully like-minded readers will come by and they will come back again, and again, and decide to stay around for the pool party! We already perused having patterns and prints in our fashion wardrobe for the Summer.  However, we have to know how to wear them!  According to Styletips101   there are "6 Rules to Wearing Prints" that   we should follow!   No. 1 - "We should wear one print at a time"  I agree with this somewhat.  If you're not afraid of making fashion statements or not afraid of the attention that comes with being a fashion statement, I say go ahead and wear your prints, any way you want to!  My rule of thumb here is to keep them in the same color family or in a color family that will blend well when worn together !  And if your patterns are similar, you will be a fashion hit!  See the following   image by photographer David Roemer for the New York Times; Styling by Susan Joy . OK Curvy divas as Joan Rivers would say, "Can we talk?"  I mean real talk from one curvy diva to another! You and I both know that it is great to find good deals on the clothing and accessories we buy.  Heck, it's fabulous when we find a bargain on anything within a budget we can afford! Another sign of Summer are the fabulous patterns & prints that are a part of almost every fashionista's wardrobe!  Bold and graphic patterned clothing & accessories are quite the item this season and are featured on Elle.com ; some really cool prints and patterns that depicts the art of fashion! I find it interesting that so many regular designers or popular stores do not carry full curvy diva sizes. In this day and age, don't you think they should? Take for example, an email I received from one of my online subscriptions, Shop it To Me . After Class - $78.00! Try wedges!  Wedges have become quite fashionable and are available in a variety of styles!  Another plus with wearing wedges is they are not as uncomfortable and will give you a better distribution in proportion to your feet and body, no teetering here....unless you're over 5inches of course!  Sheinside.com have some wonderful (and trendy) looks in wedges that ranged from the regular to the ornate!
