Several times this year, I've read articles that talks about large handbags being on the "out" and smaller handbags being the "trend" .    Well guess what?  If you didn't jump on that trend-wagon, you're still in the running of being fashionable!   Personally, I really don't mind carrying a smaller handbag when I'm going out on the town (aka doing anything else other than running errands)!  Even then I prefer to carry an envelope bag or a scaled-down (in size) handbag which often tends to be on the slightly larger side!   It just depends on what you like curvy divas !  It's great to follow trends, but even better when you make a trend your own ! Shop We love fashion, but we also love to take care of our bodies, right curvy divas?!  With this in mind, what is the one sure thing that happens to most of us during the summer months, we get a TAN! Even I do! Yes, my dark caramel tone becomes a deeper shade of cocoa!  I love it because my skin becomes one shade, and not my legs being usually paler than my arms, or my face looking paler than my neck....!   So yes, we do get tanned too! :) For many people, self-tanning is the way to go .  Especially if you are not a sun-worshipper, finding the color you want to have in a tube, can be one of the best things to do!   Taylor Barringer of Elle.com featured her choice of some of the best self tanners around! How many swim suits do you own curvy divas?  One, two...five?!  Or perhaps you only own one because it's only hot in your neck of the woods, for two or three months out of the year?  Well, whatever it is, don't you think it's time you bought new swim suits? Personally speaking, the last time I purchased a new bathing suit was five years ago!!!! I don't know what it is curvy divas , just as much as I love stripes, I'm drawn to red hair like a moth to the flame! I absolutely LOVE RED Hair! Not just any red, my favorite red heads are of the copper-toned and deeper red-hued variety!  Ever since I grew up and could color my hair, as I loved to do even when I was wearing straight hair, my color choice would be a shade of red. Now that I am wearing my hair in it's natural (non-relaxer) curly state, I still do color, and I often opt for... RED !  I have been in search of that shade of red that will give my hair the oomph that I want to have.  My latest shade of red have received some complements and it's a color I have used again and again over the last two months. My hair color is a reddish-brown combination and works well for now! We don't want clothing that makes us look bulky, unattractive or fat! We want style with a bit of class and whimsy too!  At least, you can wear one or the other, depending on the occasion, but for the most part, a girl just want to have fun !!! Last year I created a list of "wants" to add to my summer wardrobe in an article I shared with you curvy divas , My Summer Wish List !  Unfortunately two of the photographs are no longer there. However I am happy to report I got the nude shoes I wanted! In my last article I shared my love of neon colors.  But my love of colors doesn't end there curvy divas . I love all colors bright and vibrant!  Pinks, purples, greens, yellows, turquoise...just give me the rainbow!!! I like seeing fashionistas who aren't afraid of color. The very idea of wearing anything other than black, white, or brown, does scare some people.  If you are one who is afraid, l et this be the year that you buy one vibrantly colored item , a pair of flats, heels or wedges, or even a pair of sunglasses will do!  Make yourself gorgeous by choosing the right outfit, pull your hair back, or wear it down. How do you feel about neon colors curvy divas?  I don't mind that color-family at all. I've worn it in one variation or another.   When I do, I tend to wear neon pink or yellow/green.   Recently I wore neon yellow /green nail polish and it was a lot of fun!  It seemed as if it glowed in the dark! I love looking at the fashion and styles on chiq.com !  They are always so on point with the latest trends, especially because it is posted by us, the viewers!  Today I was admiring some great looking syles, clothing and accessories in bright neon colors!  I wanted to share some of those looks with you! Recently Amanda and I went shopping for more skinny jeans.  We stopped at JC Penney because they had a great sale going on.  Somehow, we tend to gravitate towards blue, even though lately she's been into pink!  I love that the colors were so bright too! I dislike that the pants were so tight, but I guess I should accept this since it is "skinny jeans", right curvy divas ?!  I do like looking good in what I wear, add to that looking stylish, and wearing clothing that doesn't make me look twice my size, or too young (as if I'm trying too hard)... and I'm all good! We tried on several pairs of jeans, and added some skirts too.  Both of us were not too keen on anything we tried on that day.  I decided to leave it ,  with plans to "visit" again, after all, we are really loving Penney's new look & styles!

I love these earrings that I bought from Forever 21!  They are turquoise/green color with pewter gold trim that looks like silver!  I wear them with most colors in my wardrobe (why not?!) and love pairing them with different shades of green! For this look curvy divas , my accessories were more simple. Gold-look bangle bracelets were the added touch! I may have already shared with you that I wasn't a fan of skinny jeans , at least for me personally, in the beginning curvy divas .  However, since I finally gave in and bought one that was on sale at Kohl's, where else?! I love the pair I bought!    I forgot the price I purchased them on sale, however, I found some great looking skinny jeans for plus size online at kohls.com for you below!
