According to Rachel Zoe, who also loves that Leggings are a pants alternative , she wrote "Wearing Leggings doesn't mean you've given up on fashion".  I love that statement and I dived in whole heartedly to read her featured article on the Zoe Report .   "You Can Wear Leggings, and Still Look Polished" . Rachel's article was written when the weather was a  lot cooler. Though her ideas to use layers and loads of accessories, "Cozy layers and bold accessories", is so on pointe!   Great minds! :)  

Some people believe that we should never use leggings to replace pants.   I agree.  However, I think that a lot of women confuses tights with leggings. Tights should always be worn under your clothing. Leggings is outer wear.  Take a look at the outfit below. Although I am wearing leggings, I have layered it.  Have you ever had one of those moments when you just don't want to look fat in what you plan on wearing?  I chose this combination outfit for that reason, and for the comfort and style.  I chose  the T-Shirt dress from H&M . I also layered a blue stretchy tank underneath for modesty's sake. The leggings are S.O. brand from Kohl's .

Leggings, the bane of fashion to some, the joy to others.   You know how I feel about them already curvy divas, I LOVE them!  Simply because they are so comfortable, and are the easiest go-to items in anyone's closet.   You must own at least one pair.  You can wear them for work outs:

This is the debut of a new feature on the blog that is called "Window Shopping" .  You may have remembered me mentioning that phrase before curvy divas?   Window shopping is when you go to the mall, or to your favorite store and try on clothes, just to see what they look like, but you don't buy them on that particular trip. Most times this is usually when you are feeling bored and you want to do an activity that will not just relieve boredom, you do it to lift your mood and what a great way to cheer yourself up! You might say, well, what is the point if you're not going to buy anything?  My hubs always ask this question when I say I'm going Window Shopping!lol! My usual response is "It's a woman thing and you wouldn't understand" .  However, for us and this new feature , Window Shopping will be a recognizance of sorts. It is our mission to test out these new store/designer collabs out there. Consider us your R&D! (Research & Development

As you know curvy divas, we were still in the process of finding a template that is the right fit for our vision.  Well, I could not resist trying out several looks this past weekend.  It is still a work in progress as we continue to work on this effort.  If you should log in and see a different look, or if links do not work, don't worry, we are all over it!

Over the past four years I have learned to love my hair, and in doing so, I have learned to love me.  There have been times when I really disliked the way my hair looked. Not because it was ugly. Because I couldn't get it to do what I wanted to do with my hair. It wouldn't get super straight, or as thin as some of my friends.  It would get so frizzy when wet, I didn't like being caught in the rain.  

I'm posting the video vlog with information about the blog-scavenger hunt, and a few fun hair tidbits! No winner selected yet for the raffle.   I have received a few spam email though...bummer but taking it in stride.  I'm making sure not to open any of those.
