It's been steaming hot these days and when it comes to Summer dressing we have to find ways to be creative!   What do you do curvy divas , on a very hot day when it's sweltering outside but you want to be the beautiful and stylish diva you are?  Well, you wear clothing that will keep you cool and calm of course!   You wear light colors and loose-fitting clothing that won't expose you to the world when your sweat glands are in over-drive because of mother nature! Last year I created a list of "wants" to add to my summer wardrobe in an article I shared with you curvy divas , My Summer Wish List !  Unfortunately two of the photographs are no longer there. However I am happy to report I got the nude shoes I wanted! Steve Madden Nude Platforms There are several more fashion wants on my list!  I have pinned on my Pinterest board,   Want 2013 , so far, only a few of the fashion items I want to own for this year, not just for Summer! A pair of leather leggings! Yes, it's leather or perhaps pleather, if they're not real, but look good enough to be real!  Mind you, it is hot in Florida, however, I sit inside in the AC all day...then again, they won't be a wear-to-work item! Who cares... .I want them! These from KOOVS are really great! There's something about long skirts that I really love. Perhaps it is the way the skirt swings around my legs as I walk!  Perhaps it is the long lean silhouette you get from wearing a longer skirt!  Perhaps it is the beautiful, brightness of the colors that reminds me of spring and summer!  The styles, the LOOK....whatever it is curvy divas , I love, LOVE Maxis! Nothing says Summer is here like fun pairs of sandals & heels curvy divas!   Especially a great pair of turquoise-colored ones such as the ones below!   I love the warm weather, and I adore the color Turquoise because it reminds me of the Ocean!  These are great to wear with anything for a great casual look. I wore it with knee length shorts and a jersey tee recently. If you haven't yet, it is time to begin thinking about what you will be wearing in these beautiful summery months!  I usually wear sandals, flip flops and wedges! These kitten heels are recent additions to my wardrobe! You can dress it up, or down! I finally have a pair in sunny YELLOW!  These are a gift from one of my BFFs who decided that my birthday was the perfect time to give me six pairs of shoes!!  I wore these with a maxi black skirt and white shirt, topped with a grey tee-vest!    Strappy Sandals are ador...

I was reading Rachel Zoe's  thezoereport.com, about Paige Adams-Geller's new denim capsule collection (found at net-a-porter.com for $239)   and immediately fell in lust with them!  I don't know about you  curvy divas , but I wondered out loud (to myself as there is no one else around right now),  "As a girl of size, how would these look on me?"  Paige Denim Edgemont Stretch Denim Skinny Jeans You know what I mean?!  There are some things that look really great on a curvy girl, and some I would never be caught in the rain in!   Hmmm, I own a pair of cobalt blue skinny jeans that I never thought I would wear, I have and love them., but I just don't know if I could pull these stripes off?!!!  Could you? I say if you can go for it!  Heck, why not, that is what fashion is all about!! You wear the clothing, they don't wear you!
