On my Style Want List for 2015 is a jumpsuit. The jumpsuit became very popular again and it is a look that is still around today. I have seen so many different styles and would like to have one that will fit me perfectly.
I walked into Kohl's the other day and saw an extra large poster of Jennifer Lopez wearing a jumpsuit that made me sigh and whispered "wow". JLO was wearing the heck out of that jumpsuit. of course having a stylist and great lighting made it even better!lol!
I decided to try on the two I liked the best, one black and the other a black & white print, both JLO's design. While the black jumpsuit was attractive, and I loved the pockets, the fit wasn't what I liked. I felt it had too much going on.
The waist was gathered elastic band, with a self string, and the bodice was a deep V neckline with a small hook for modesty. It was a jersey cotton material but it wasn't a great fit for me. I didn't love it.
The print jump suit was one that I liked a lot. The top had a great looking neckline which was very attractive when I tried it on.
It was sleeveless and the cut of the arms fitted just right, I won;t have to worry about hanging flesh or nip slips!lol!
If you notice, for this jumpsuit the waist is also elastic but it was a fitted look, not a loose one and it made my waistline seemed more trim. I definitely loved it!
The third jumpsuit is one that I loved quite a lot. This wasn't a JLO design. In fact, I found it at Rainbow Stores, a budget friendly store I like to shop sometimes when I'm looking for cute inexpensive clothing. The store actually does carry it's own brand called Caren Sports, a very good line. This jumpsuit was not the store brand. I did like It and it felt great on, not heavy/ The look was quite attractive. What I didn't like? The zipper kept pulling down. Because of that, I didn't love it. Now I am definitely going to be seeking a great pair of denim jumper!
I haven't worn the jumpsuit I bought yet. When I do I will definitely show you what I wear in a day!
