I have once again become a fan of Red Lips curvy divas! There was a time when I was younger and having red lips was my choice a lot of times. Oh I would dabble with other lip colors, purple, pink, bronze, even black lipsticks!

As the years went by I somehow hated that color, not on others, but on me! When I saw another woman in red lipstick, I admired the look and thought how good they looked. For me, ugh! Nope, not happening! I just couldn't seem to find the perfect red lip color anymore, they all looked bad on me, in my head! Hmmm, did I need an intervention?

Naww, I didn't, and I'm back full circle, loving and wearing that gorgeous shade again! I now own, a couple of lipsticks in different shades of red, how fun! Imagine my joy when I saw Elle.com featuring Red Lips, ohh la la!

Window Shopping Part Deux - What I Chose

As you know from my last article , I went shopping for swimsuit with my teen Mandi and ended up doing the same for myself. After all, I was in need of a new bathing suit. My last purchase for one was from Target eight years ago! And also during that time, I was the lucky recipient of two new suits from my BSFFL (Best Sister Friend For Life) who visited from Europe! So Those have lasted quite a long time!

How to Wear Glitter in the Daytime

Have you ever worn sequin aka glitter? It is pretty much a trend in fashion these days. Glitter is worn mostly at nights and for real special and dressier occasions. But not so today curvy divas. Glitter can also be worn during the day! I've worn glitter during the day time before and I try to make it look as understated as possible! You don't need too much accessories when you wear glitter. It is pretty much how you put your outfit together! On Elle.com Amanda Fitzsimons interviewed designer Marissa Webb who is known for using sequins during the daytime! Amanda wanted to know if this look (daytime glitter) can really work? Marissa said it definitely can and thinks it is in how shine the sequinned (or glittered) garment that choose to wear is. It is not just in the size of the beadings at all! I tend to agree with her. I don't think a really shiny sequinned garment on its own, would work for daytime. That would definitely be overkill! ...
