New Look Coming

In an effort to make my blog the creative muse I dream of it to be, I'm going to select a new look. Just so you know, this upcoming change may not possibly be the last time (never say never right?!) as I am  contemplating if I am staying with Blogger or not. 

 While I do own my blog name, there's a certain look I want that Blogger doesn't seem to offer and it's probably on Blogger somewhere, (because maybe they might have it and I just haven't found it yet) as I need to take the time to look for what I want.  I'm going to build the look I want to have, perhaps not from scratch, but somehow I will!  Don't be surprise if you open up to read with me and I have a different look on my blog. Doing this will allow me to do some of the other things I've wanted to do.   I hope you will be as excited about change curvy divas, as I am!  I will continue to post new articles!

 In the meantime, stay tune to this space!

Another post of mine that was a write up for Orlando Fashion Week Magazine.  It was published there previously.  If you missed it, I'm sharing it again here on my blog for the first time, with some edits for relevance of course curvy divas. Me too!  It was one of the best with my favorite Mr. Worldwide, Pitbull as host.  Did you catch the fashion that walked the red carpet?  No? Well, pull up a chair and I'll fill you in. At the 2012 award show, Christina Aguilera was beautiful in all her curvyness in a Pamella Roland dress, unfortunately, she went overboard on the suntan lotion.  Last year, she showed off a much leaner physique in a white Maria Lucia Hohan cut-out dress with a high split on the side.  Her shoes were Christian Louboutin peep-toe and I loved her pave jewelry. Global Fashion: For the Bride: Bridal Week in Barcelona

Tis the season for brides, in fact, it really is ANY season that a bride to be chooses to get married.  However many weddings take place from Spring to Summer.  It must be something about the warm weather coming back, and flowers blooming with that scent in the air...could it be romance?! I took a  virtual walk over to glamour.com and found some really beautiful photos of bridal gowns in an article written by Glamour contributor Kim Fusaro , in her article featuring Barcelona's annual fashionable event, Bridal Week.

Fashionistas - What's in a Word

You have heard this word before curvy divas , "Fashionistas"?  When it comes to anything to do with fashion and being fashionable, I am sure you have!  Do you know who coined the word and how it came about?  Well, first of all I didn't even realized that there was a story to the word, much less it being "coined" by any one particular person!  I just thought it was one of those words that came about and became popular because of its usage and in reference to anything fashion! According to Elle.com's Culture News, in an article by Rebecca Moss , the word Fashionistas was first created by Stephen Fried.
