Do you know Issuu curvy divas? They are an online haven, issuu.com, where I go whenever I want to read free issues of magazines from all over the USA and the world. You can have more access if you become a paid member of the site! I am a magazine junky and now that there are so many online versions, I'm in heaven! What is Issuu you might wonder? One magazine issue that I really enjoy perusing is Urban Coco from Leeds, UK. Their August issue features the "Hot 100 Beauty Edits", and let me tell you, I was not disappointed! There are photographs gallery, makeup and other beauty news and they even shared what is upcoming for Fall 2013!

Another post of mine that was a write up for Orlando Fashion Week Magazine. It was published there previously. If you missed it, I'm sharing it again here on my blog for the first time, with some edits for relevance of course curvy divas. A writer's work is never done! At the 2012 award show, Christina Aguilera was beautiful in all her curvyness in a Pamella Roland dress, unfortunately, she went overboard on the suntan lotion. Last year, she showed off a much leaner physique in a white Maria Lucia Hohan cut-out dress with a high split on the side. Her shoes were Christian Louboutin peep-toe and I loved her pave jewelry. Fashionistas - What's in a Word

You have heard this word before curvy divas , "Fashionistas"? When it comes to anything to do with fashion and being fashionable, I am sure you have! Do you know who coined the word and how it came about? Well, first of all I didn't even realized that there was a story to the word, much less it being "coined" by any one particular person! I just thought it was one of those words that came about and became popular because of its usage and in reference to anything fashion! According to Elle.com's Culture News, in an article by Rebecca Moss , the word Fashionistas was first created by Stephen Fried. Tis the season for brides, in fact, it really is ANY season that a bride to be chooses to get married. However many weddings take place from Spring to Summer. It must be something about the warm weather coming back, and flowers blooming with that scent in the air...could it be romance?!
