ISSUU - Urban Coco Magazine

Do you know Issuu curvy divas?  They are an online haven, issuu.com, where I go whenever I want to read free issues of magazines from all over the USA and the world.  You can have more access if you become a paid member of the site!  I am a magazine junky and now that there are so many online versions, I'm in heaven! What is Issuu you might wonder? Well, they are a digital publication platform where hundreds, make that thousands....make that millions (now who is counting?) of readers use them as their digital magazine source. To read more, follow this link, Issuu

One magazine issue that I really enjoy perusing is Urban Coco from Leeds, UK.  Their August issue features the "Hot 100 Beauty Edits", and let me tell you, I was not disappointed!  There are photographs gallery, makeup and other beauty news and they even shared what is upcoming for Fall 2013!

Backstage at OIFW Model Casting Call

On Saturday, yesterday in fact, I had the pleasure of attending a casting call for models , an event organized and hosted by Fierce Entertainment Management for their upcoming Orlando International Fashion Week, November  2-8, 2014 . Attendees at the event were welcomed by Fierce Entertainment's, Rob Henlon who then handed the program over to the vivacious Kristania Vielot who instructed the aspiring models for their walk down the runway, strutting their stuff for the designers and other members of the Fierce team. As the models strutted to the sound of the music-mix pumping, guests sipped and ate refreshments that were provided.   Before they walked the impromptu runway, I had a little  tête-à-tête   with three of the young models, Logan-9, Ashley-6 and Aiden-4,  beautiful, cute, and adorable , (who won't want me to call them that, but I am because they were) whose future will lead them to become what they dream of!   ...

Window Shopping Part Deux - What I Chose

As you know from my last article , I went shopping for swimsuit with my teen Mandi and ended up doing the same for myself. After all, I was in need of a new bathing suit. My last purchase for one was from Target eight years ago! And also during that time, I was the lucky recipient of two new suits from my BSFFL (Best Sister Friend For Life) who visited from Europe! So Those have lasted quite a long time!
