Fab Fall Looks

Soon our love affair with the sun will be over and so will our flirty way of dressing for it!  As the days begin to get cooler we will want to cover up and wear more clothing.

Chadwicks is one of the places I love to shop from and their clothing is not only affordable, they are of great quality! I visited their online site and here are some looks I love to transition into the colder weather.

I would definitely wear this pink cardigan with a bold accessory to amp it up a bit! Love the model's look! (I've already forgiven them for not using a plus sized model)

Real Comfort Drape Cardigan Sweater - $29.99

A Turtleneck sweater is always a girl's best friend during the cold season!

Silk Blend Turtleneck Sweater - $29.99

So curvy divas, although we know it will be cold, how can we not be the daring divas we are?  You can still wear dresses such as this leopard print dress (yes a leopard print dress!) and just be sure to wear warm scarves, gloves & a coat!

Nina Leonard Faux-wrap dress - $59.99

Ohh, keep this up and we will definitely be looking our fabulously gorgeous selves even in the cold times~!

Backstage at OIFW Model Casting Call

On Saturday, yesterday in fact, I had the pleasure of attending a casting call for models , an event organized and hosted by Fierce Entertainment Management for their upcoming Orlando International Fashion Week, November  2-8, 2014 . Attendees at the event were welcomed by Fierce Entertainment's, Rob Henlon who then handed the program over to the vivacious Kristania Vielot who instructed the aspiring models for their walk down the runway, strutting their stuff for the designers and other members of the Fierce team. As the models strutted to the sound of the music-mix pumping, guests sipped and ate refreshments that were provided.   Before they walked the impromptu runway, I had a little  tête-à-tête   with three of the young models, Logan-9, Ashley-6 and Aiden-4,  beautiful, cute, and adorable , (who won't want me to call them that, but I am because they were) whose future will lead them to become what they dream of!   ...

Window Shopping Part Deux - What I Chose

As you know from my last article , I went shopping for swimsuit with my teen Mandi and ended up doing the same for myself. After all, I was in need of a new bathing suit. My last purchase for one was from Target eight years ago! And also during that time, I was the lucky recipient of two new suits from my BSFFL (Best Sister Friend For Life) who visited from Europe! So Those have lasted quite a long time!

Day 5: Week of Photo Blogging: Hats

Well curvy divas , this is Day 5 of our little blog-speriment!  Today's photo blogging feature are one of my favorite accessories, hats!   I got the tip from one of my favorite stylist maven, Rachel Zoe, from  http://www.thezoereport.com/kentucky-derby-hats/ !  My favorite hat, the blue striped one, is not available anymore.   Photos of hats posted below with direct links to the website they are found.
