Blog Upp!

You know curvy divas, in this world of blogging you have to put yourself out there.  You have to get around the blogosphere and introduce "yourself" to all the others who have paved the way for you.  As an up and coming fashion blog for us curvy plus sized divas, I'm getting to know my way around.  While I'm not new to the blog world, I have a personal blog where I share my views and my reality on a regular basis, but the dream to have a fashion blog with the fabulously curvy in mind, has always been there and though this genre can be an intimidating world because there are so many experts out there, I decided to jump right into the pool!  I decided to treat this blog the way I do my personal blog, by just being me, and with fingers crossed, hopefully like-minded readers will come by and they will come back again, and again, and decide to stay around for the pool party!

It was by "poking" around the intraweb that I discovered Blog Upp, at least I was poking around Blogger Gadgets!lol!  So I joined Blog Upp and got a widget for my Fabulously Curvy blog.  Today I see that I have their blue light of approval!!  Thank you Blog Upp!

Backstage at OIFW Model Casting Call

On Saturday, yesterday in fact, I had the pleasure of attending a casting call for models , an event organized and hosted by Fierce Entertainment Management for their upcoming Orlando International Fashion Week, November  2-8, 2014 . Attendees at the event were welcomed by Fierce Entertainment's, Rob Henlon who then handed the program over to the vivacious Kristania Vielot who instructed the aspiring models for their walk down the runway, strutting their stuff for the designers and other members of the Fierce team. As the models strutted to the sound of the music-mix pumping, guests sipped and ate refreshments that were provided.   Before they walked the impromptu runway, I had a little  tête-à-tête   with three of the young models, Logan-9, Ashley-6 and Aiden-4,  beautiful, cute, and adorable , (who won't want me to call them that, but I am because they were) whose future will lead them to become what they dream of!   ...

Well curvy divas , have you thought about it yet?  Coat season of course!  I'm sure by now you know that there is a coat for every type of cold-weather day! On Purewow.com they featured 30 different coats you can wear , think of it as a daily guide for at least one month of coat-wearing during the cold season!  They have defined for each type of cold-weather day a coat or jacket you can wear! When it's Crisp outside, a bit cooler than the hot weather we are still feeling here in Orlando, then it's time to take out your blazer !
