Window Shopping Part Deux - What I Chose

As you know from my last article, I went shopping for swimsuit with my teen Mandi and ended up doing the same for myself. After all, I was in need of a new bathing suit. My last purchase for one was from Target eight years ago! And also during that time, I was the lucky recipient of two new suits from my BSFFL (Best Sister Friend For Life) who visited from Europe! So Those have lasted quite a long time!

However, with the changes in trends and style for curvy women, as we continue to squeeze our curves into unattractive one pieces, then came the the fashionable Tankini, yes it was time for a new swimsuit for me!

I tried on several that didn't make it on film. The three that did were my top three selections. The blue floral above was too cutesy-looking although I loved the skirted style, it was not what I wanted.

The other was fabulous in the draping, it had a nice fitted bodice. However the pattern was not the look I liked.

The final choice were actually Separates, and not part of a set sold together. I loved the idea of the bright color on the bottom piece, that Yellow is pretty bold.  The top was in a Navy & White Nautical styling, with a contrasting green piping and reminded me why I am a lover of stripes and so I dived in for this look!

I have finally found the perfect swimsuit, and it is a Tankini!

Talk about confidence and living out loud. I did even better while wearing it.  I did not wear shorts! I am giddy with the freedom of casting my cares to the wind.  That Ocean was Ah-MAzing and I could hear the siren's song as I rushed out to greet the waves.

Backstage at OIFW Model Casting Call

On Saturday, yesterday in fact, I had the pleasure of attending a casting call for models , an event organized and hosted by Fierce Entertainment Management for their upcoming Orlando International Fashion Week, November  2-8, 2014 . Attendees at the event were welcomed by Fierce Entertainment's, Rob Henlon who then handed the program over to the vivacious Kristania Vielot who instructed the aspiring models for their walk down the runway, strutting their stuff for the designers and other members of the Fierce team. As the models strutted to the sound of the music-mix pumping, guests sipped and ate refreshments that were provided.   Before they walked the impromptu runway, I had a little  tête-à-tête   with three of the young models, Logan-9, Ashley-6 and Aiden-4,  beautiful, cute, and adorable , (who won't want me to call them that, but I am because they were) whose future will lead them to become what they dream of!   ...

When it's Crisp outside, a bit cooler than the hot weather we are still feeling here in Orlando, then it's time to take out your blazer ! Mossimo's brown leather fur collar jacket When it gets blustery outside, a lot colder than just a chill in the air, hello Bomber jackets !   I agree that this style is the "it" jacket, because of its edgy style ! http://www.oldnavy.com/products/outerwear-...
