2015 Grammys: Rihanna did it again...and more Fashion-Glam Moments

Last night the 57th Grammy Awards took over Hollywood and had most of us riveted to our television for 3 hours curvy divas, did you tune in?  I was exhausted by the end of it.  Mostly because it seem to drag on this year. Could it have been the fact that it didn't have the same flair of adventure and disobedience that I expected?  That expectation of unexpectedness is what made the Grammys exciting over the years. The unexpected rocking out of the Stars who make our hearts swoon at their music.

While the happenings inside the Staple Center left me feeling ho-hum, the fashions didn't disappoint!

My favorite look of the night, RiRi, Rihanna killed it.  I love that she went out of the box (she was literally covered up) in her very pink Giambattista Valli haute couture-glam gown. Wasn't it just recently I mentioned my love for couture?!

My second favorite style look was the opposite of Rihanna's voluminous, all-out couture-glam.  Jennifer Hudson's minimalist-glam in this little white dress by Tom Ford!  Her LWD was sleek and showed off her toned figure.  The hair and accessories were perfectly on point.  Good job Jhud!

Broadway star Lena Hall in Zac Posen was my third favorite look. The sateen sheen and fit of her gown gave her an oh so
Old-hollywood-glam look, how divine!

I love, love Taylor Swift's accessories and her makeup.  Her entire look was also on-point, what a beauty-glam moment.

These were my favorite looks of the night.  Which was yours curvy divas?  Whose look did you love that I should have included?

Backstage at OIFW Model Casting Call

On Saturday, yesterday in fact, I had the pleasure of attending a casting call for models , an event organized and hosted by Fierce Entertainment Management for their upcoming Orlando International Fashion Week, November  2-8, 2014 . Attendees at the event were welcomed by Fierce Entertainment's, Rob Henlon who then handed the program over to the vivacious Kristania Vielot who instructed the aspiring models for their walk down the runway, strutting their stuff for the designers and other members of the Fierce team. As the models strutted to the sound of the music-mix pumping, guests sipped and ate refreshments that were provided.   Before they walked the impromptu runway, I had a little  tête-à-tête   with three of the young models, Logan-9, Ashley-6 and Aiden-4,  beautiful, cute, and adorable , (who won't want me to call them that, but I am because they were) whose future will lead them to become what they dream of!   ...

30 Coats: One for every day of the cold season

As Winter comes around the corner for some, and is already here for others, what is the best thing (after my favorite, boots) that some fashionistas look forward to? Well curvy divas , have you thought about it yet?  Coat season of course!  I'm sure by now you know that there is a coat for every type of cold-weather day! On Purewow.com they featured 30 different coats you can wear , think of it as a daily guide for at least one month of coat-wearing during the cold season!  They have defined for each type of cold-weather day a coat or jacket you can wear! When it's Crisp outside, a bit cooler than the hot weather we are still feeling here in Orlando, then it's time to take out your blazer ! Mossimo's brown leather fur collar jacket When it gets blustery outside, a lot colder than just a chill in the air, hello Bomber jackets !   I agree that this style is the "it" jacket, because of its edgy style ! http://www.oldnavy.com/products/outerwear-...
