High Pony Top Knot - Loving Jennifer Lopez'

I just a saw a photo of Jennifer Lopez' high ponytail top knot and I'm loving it!  Have you ever worn a top knot?  I do wear one often even when I'm all natural curls. It's the easiest way for me to tame my curls when I'm at home.

I've even worn high pony top knot running errands.  It's never a perfect one though, in fact, the looser and less perfect my top knot is, the better.  I read Petra Gugliemetti's article on Glamour.com on how Jennifer Lopez' stylist does hers and think I may try it.

Of course Jennifer has much longer hair and it's also straight, so of course she will have much more hair in that look.  Do you know what her stylist does to perfect this look? He uses a curling iron!! What a smart idea to tame fly-a-ways and make the ends even neater.

Backstage at OIFW Model Casting Call

On Saturday, yesterday in fact, I had the pleasure of attending a casting call for models , an event organized and hosted by Fierce Entertainment Management for their upcoming Orlando International Fashion Week, November  2-8, 2014 . Attendees at the event were welcomed by Fierce Entertainment's, Rob Henlon who then handed the program over to the vivacious Kristania Vielot who instructed the aspiring models for their walk down the runway, strutting their stuff for the designers and other members of the Fierce team. As the models strutted to the sound of the music-mix pumping, guests sipped and ate refreshments that were provided.   Before they walked the impromptu runway, I had a little  tête-à-tête   with three of the young models, Logan-9, Ashley-6 and Aiden-4,  beautiful, cute, and adorable , (who won't want me to call them that, but I am because they were) whose future will lead them to become what they dream of!   ...

Window Shopping Part Deux - What I Chose

As you know from my last article , I went shopping for swimsuit with my teen Mandi and ended up doing the same for myself. After all, I was in need of a new bathing suit. My last purchase for one was from Target eight years ago! And also during that time, I was the lucky recipient of two new suits from my BSFFL (Best Sister Friend For Life) who visited from Europe! So Those have lasted quite a long time!
