Alexander Wang at H&M November 2014


Have you heard the news curvy divas?  Alexander Wang, yes, the designer, the very one whose muse I want to be will be at H&M next month. Yes, in November!!!! What? I was very excited to hear the news.  The only thing that makes me lose the zest in my step is the size he doesn't have....yep, our gorgeous curviness! ~WAH~

 I will get over it and I'm sure you will too but in the meantime, let us be the voyeurs into the world of Alexander Wang and seek out his designs, the link below is his bio where we will find out so much more about this collaboration with H&M.

At the 2012 award show, Christina Aguilera was beautiful in all her curvyness in a Pamella Roland dress, unfortunately, she went overboard on the suntan lotion.  Last year, she showed off a much leaner physique in a white Maria Lucia Hohan cut-out dress with a high split on the side.  Her shoes were Christian Louboutin peep-toe and I loved her pave jewelry. Fashionistas - What's in a Word

You have heard this word before curvy divas , "Fashionistas"?  When it comes to anything to do with fashion and being fashionable, I am sure you have!  Do you know who coined the word and how it came about?  Well, first of all I didn't even realized that there was a story to the word, much less it being "coined" by any one particular person!  I just thought it was one of those words that came about and became popular because of its usage and in reference to anything fashion! According to Elle.com's Culture News, in an article by Rebecca Moss , the word Fashionistas was first created by Stephen Fried. Global Fashion: For the Bride: Bridal Week in Barcelona

Tis the season for brides, in fact, it really is ANY season that a bride to be chooses to get married.  However many weddings take place from Spring to Summer.  It must be something about the warm weather coming back, and flowers blooming with that scent in the air...could it be romance?!
