How to's: Long hair to Short Hair in Six Steps

Have you ever wanted to try a shorter hair style but didn't want to cut your own hair?  I have so many times curvy divas; but my hair takes so long to grow; although I've been toying with the idea of chopping it all off again! One of the beauty of my hair is I can have it styled with the latest hair trend by my favorite stylist using fake hair to create the look I want.  I used to do that back in the day when I was a major player in the hair extension-wearing-land. Today I prefer to don a wig or just wear a hat.

Lately I have been drooling over those women I see in magazines and on television with their half long, half shaved hair-do's....  Since I'm not going to shave my head anytime soon (unless I get one of those crazy-flash-I don't-care-moments!lol!), in perusing elle.com/beauty/hair as I love to read everything Elle, and found a great "How to" and thought I would share.
Long hair....to short....see below

Backstage at OIFW Model Casting Call

On Saturday, yesterday in fact, I had the pleasure of attending a casting call for models , an event organized and hosted by Fierce Entertainment Management for their upcoming Orlando International Fashion Week, November  2-8, 2014 . Attendees at the event were welcomed by Fierce Entertainment's, Rob Henlon who then handed the program over to the vivacious Kristania Vielot who instructed the aspiring models for their walk down the runway, strutting their stuff for the designers and other members of the Fierce team. As the models strutted to the sound of the music-mix pumping, guests sipped and ate refreshments that were provided.   Before they walked the impromptu runway, I had a little  tête-à-tête   with three of the young models, Logan-9, Ashley-6 and Aiden-4,  beautiful, cute, and adorable , (who won't want me to call them that, but I am because they were) whose future will lead them to become what they dream of!   ...

Day 5: Week of Photo Blogging: Hats

Well curvy divas , this is Day 5 of our little blog-speriment!  Today's photo blogging feature are one of my favorite accessories, hats!   I got the tip from one of my favorite stylist maven, Rachel Zoe, from  http://www.thezoereport.com/kentucky-derby-hats/ !  My favorite hat, the blue striped one, is not available anymore.   Photos of hats posted below with direct links to the website they are found. 30 Coats: One for every day of the cold season

As Winter comes around the corner for some, and is already here for others, what is the best thing (after my favorite, boots) that some fashionistas look forward to? Well curvy divas , have you thought about it yet?  Coat season of course!  I'm sure by now you know that there is a coat for every type of cold-weather day! On Purewow.com they featured 30 different coats you can wear , think of it as a daily guide for at least one month of coat-wearing during the cold season!  They have defined for each type of cold-weather day a coat or jacket you can wear! When it's Crisp outside, a bit cooler than the hot weather we are still feeling here in Orlando, then it's time to take out your blazer ! Mossimo's brown leather fur collar jacket When it gets blustery outside, a lot colder than just a chill in the air, hello Bomber jackets !   I agree that this style is the "it" jacket, because of its edgy style ! http://www.oldnavy.com/products/outerwear-...
