What I Wear in a Day: The Vlog Series - Day 4

How are you enjoying my videos so far curvy divas? I'm still a work in progress!lol! My videographer Amanda is back assisting me with this recording, yeaah! She's my cheer leader!lol!

In this episode I'm dressed in layers because it was a pretty cold day in Orlando. Yes, we do get cold here too. At the time of this filming, we were experiencing a week of cold mornings and nights. It would warm up during the day, and then be in the forty's or thirty's at nights!

Another post of mine that was a write up for Orlando Fashion Week Magazine. It was published there previously. Last year, she showed off a much leaner physique in a white Maria Lucia Hohan cut-out dress with a high split on the side. Her shoes were Christian Louboutin peep-toe and I loved her pave jewelry. Tis the season for brides, in fact, it really is ANY season that a bride to be chooses to get married. However many weddings take place from Spring to Summer. It must be something about the warm weather coming back, and flowers blooming with that scent in the air...could it be romance?! I took a virtual walk over to glamour.com and found some really beautiful photos of bridal gowns in an article written by Glamour contributor Kim Fusaro , in her article featuring Barcelona's annual fashionable event, Bridal Week.

Fashionistas - What's in a Word

You have heard this word before curvy divas , "Fashionistas"? When it comes to anything to do with fashion and being fashionable, I am sure you have! Do you know who coined the word and how it came about? Well, first of all I didn't even realized that there was a story to the word, much less it being "coined" by any one particular person! I just thought it was one of those words that came about and became popular because of its usage and in reference to anything fashion! According to Elle.com's Culture News, in an article by Rebecca Moss , the word Fashionistas was first created by Stephen Fried.
