What I wear in a Day: The Vlog Series- day 1

I've always wanted to try Vlogging. For you who don't know, a Vlog is when you create a video of yourself doing whatever it is that you want to share, be it a tutorial, or anything your heart desires. I have a series of articles that I call "What I Wear In a Day". It's when I show you my outfit that I wore on any given day. This time however, I'm going to Vlog about it, that's Five Days of Blogging about what I wear in a day!! Hopefully you'll like this new addition to my blog. This is a photo of me for one of the vlogs I did.

I'm still learning, so please do pardon the unprofessional novice that I am as I continue the series! But as I made a promise to myself, to step out of my comfort zone this year, look out for the new changes that I will be adding to my blog while creating my mini-empire!bwhahahahaha.....hey, you're supposed to smile!lol!

Oh, and two notes: I usually ended up recording at the end of my work day, the mornings or just too hectic to stop and record, so you'll see me in the many stages of what I look like after my work day is over...and running errands for the family...for the most part, my daughter Amanda assisted me with a few of the recordings. I haven't edited it at all, so there are nuances which could have been done better. (we are a work in progress after all!lol!) OK, here goes, do let me know your thoughts and leave me a comment.

Another post of mine that was a write up for Orlando Fashion Week Magazine. It was published there previously. If you missed it, I'm sharing it again here on my blog for the first time, with some edits for relevance of course curvy divas. A writer's work is never done! At the 2012 award show, Christina Aguilera was beautiful in all her curvyness in a Pamella Roland dress, unfortunately, she went overboard on the suntan lotion. Last year, she showed off a much leaner physique in a white Maria Lucia Hohan cut-out dress with a high split on the side. Her shoes were Christian Louboutin peep-toe and I loved her pave jewelry. Christina Aguilera at the AMAs in 2012 & 2013. ...

Day Two: Curvy Finds: Thrift Shopping Awesome

I love thrifting, do you? I have not stopped by our local Goodwill in a while and decided to go browse , just to see what I could find. You know what I love about thrifting at Goodwill? Their color theme discount. If you happen to purchase clothing items and the tag is the color of the day, you get it at half price! A J.Jill Striped dress, a score on special discount! Now normally, I rarely ever get in on that discount . But it's thrifting, and they give student discount, whose complaining? Not me! I am really looking for certain items which I will share at another write up, however, I went in with an open mind and a promise not to walk out with too much stuff . I'm infamous for going in for "one item" and walking out with let's just say more than one!

Hair Trends: Rainbow Colored Hair

I've got a new obsession. Yes, a new one, rainbow colored hair. I am fascinated by the women who are bold enough to do this look. I did my own bold look two summers ago when I went a very daring red. I am actually antsy and really want to try pink and blue and green...need I say more? LOL! Because I have to keep my looks under wraps (at least for the next couple of months) so that I don't scare the very conservative people I work with. I cannot be really "loud" with my hair. In my heart I am a child of adventure and do not let others bother me but I must admit there are times when "they" will suppress my spirit. These days though I'm happy to say that I'm learning to live in the moments and I am again learning to let me be me. So yes, I will find a way to try new colors and I do like rainbow colors!
