In Need of a Makeover

There are times in your life when you come to realize that some things are just not working.  You want change, a change for the better in order to make your life the way you want it to be.  Have you ever experienced this dear readers? Me too!  And so with that in mind, there will be a lot of "tweaking going on"!

 You know it was going to happen again, I mentioned it the last time I made changes to my blog-sites. There is so much more work to be done to have the blog that I dream of!  This will be the beginning of a new adventure and I'm looking forward to it!  I've been sitting on the fence too long and have decided to jump in feet first!lol! Before I can do the big reveal though, there are changes I have to make so that this can happen.  Stay tune to my blogs for more. 

 I will continue to post new articles as often as possible on my blogs and will warn you when there will be down-times in between postings.  You know how it is when you're trying to build your empire - everything is A.U.C. - always under construction! Bwhahahahaha......~twirls imaginary 'stache~ (cue laugh track) Hey, you're suppose to laugh! :)

Another post of mine that was a write up for Orlando Fashion Week Magazine.  It was published there previously.  If you missed it, I'm sharing it again here on my blog for the first time, with some edits for relevance of course curvy divas. At the 2012 award show, Christina Aguilera was beautiful in all her curvyness in a Pamella Roland dress, unfortunately, she went overboard on the suntan lotion.  Last year, she showed off a much leaner physique in a white Maria Lucia Hohan cut-out dress with a high split on the side.  Her shoes were Christian Louboutin peep-toe and I loved her pave jewelry. Global Fashion: For the Bride: Bridal Week in Barcelona

Tis the season for brides, in fact, it really is ANY season that a bride to be chooses to get married.  However many weddings take place from Spring to Summer.  It must be something about the warm weather coming back, and flowers blooming with that scent in the air...could it be romance?! I took a  virtual walk over to glamour.com and found some really beautiful photos of bridal gowns in an article written by Glamour contributor Kim Fusaro , in her article featuring Barcelona's annual fashionable event, Bridal Week.

Fashionistas - What's in a Word

You have heard this word before curvy divas , "Fashionistas"?  When it comes to anything to do with fashion and being fashionable, I am sure you have!  Do you know who coined the word and how it came about?  Well, first of all I didn't even realized that there was a story to the word, much less it being "coined" by any one particular person!  I just thought it was one of those words that came about and became popular because of its usage and in reference to anything fashion! According to Elle.com's Culture News, in an article by Rebecca Moss , the word Fashionistas was first created by Stephen Fried.
