DOFW Magazine Week: Curvy Girl’s Make-up Tips

If you have been keeping up with us here at Fabulouslycurvy you will remember I wrote a few articles on Downtown Orlando Fashion Week which recently ended on November 9th.

If you are like me you love to wear makeup.  I'm always looking for tips on how to apply, what to wear, and how to wear makeup available to me.  Primer, blush, eyecolors...what's a girl to do?  

There’s a smorgasbord of makeup choices available for women: face, lips, eyes, nails — what’s a curvy girl to do? We want to know what to wear and how to wear it. As a curvy woman, my three makeup rules are moisturize, use under-eye concealer, and, whatever I use, blend, blend, blend!

Backstage at OIFW Model Casting Call

On Saturday, yesterday in fact, I had the pleasure of attending a casting call for models , an event organized and hosted by Fierce Entertainment Management for their upcoming Orlando International Fashion Week, November  2-8, 2014 . Attendees at the event were welcomed by Fierce Entertainment's, Rob Henlon who then handed the program over to the vivacious Kristania Vielot who instructed the aspiring models for their walk down the runway, strutting their stuff for the designers and other members of the Fierce team. As the models strutted to the sound of the music-mix pumping, guests sipped and ate refreshments that were provided.   Before they walked the impromptu runway, I had a little  tête-à-tête   with three of the young models, Logan-9, Ashley-6 and Aiden-4,  beautiful, cute, and adorable , (who won't want me to call them that, but I am because they were) whose future will lead them to become what they dream of!   ...

Window Shopping Part Deux - What I Chose

As you know from my last article , I went shopping for swimsuit with my teen Mandi and ended up doing the same for myself. After all, I was in need of a new bathing suit. My last purchase for one was from Target eight years ago! And also during that time, I was the lucky recipient of two new suits from my BSFFL (Best Sister Friend For Life) who visited from Europe! So Those have lasted quite a long time!
