When it comes to designs and fashions curvy divas, do you know that choosing the colors is more than just the designs worn on the models walking down the runway? In fact, you would never think these words and color choices go hand-in-hand would you, textile, colorist, Pantone? Absolutely! There is so much involved, that even I, with only a year into blogging about my love for fashion, have not totally grasped the entire concept of it all!
One of the things I have learned is that twice a year, a decision is made as to the color palettes that will set the trends! It is out of this palette that the favorite color is chosen, as Emerald was for 2013! Included in the colors for this year are the front runner, Emerald, a blue called, Mykonos Blue; Acai (a purple hue); Samba (red); Koi (an orange hue); Vivacious (a bright pink); deep Lichen Green (that looks like grey to me); Carafe (a dark coffee hue); and Turbulence (a dark grey)!
