Hair Trends: The New Red!

Recently I shared with you my fascination for red hair color curvy divas, click the link to read the article! On a recent trip to the grocery store, as I walked through the grocery aisle what did I see?  Well, the most gorgeous RED HAIR COLOR EVER!!! What do you think I did?  Grabbed a box and purchased it of course!  Although I had the nerve to purchase the hair color, I was having second thoughts about whether I would change my hair to that color or not!  Could I pull off that look? Would it look good with my complexion?  Would everyone who knew me freak out? A girl just had to know!!!!

I finally decided I was ready for a change, a new look, and hopefully my hair won't fall out~!  So I went for it!  What I do love about my natural hair is without any other type of chemical process in my hair, using hair color is actually a lot safer for me without the worry of hair breakage.  I care for my hair regularly by doing deep conditioning treatments, co-washing daily to retain moisture,  and doing weekly shampoo and conditioning after a week of using hair products!  Another important point is whenever I color my hair, I wait for at least four to six weeks before I try something new, or before re-touching my roots for whatever color I am wearing!

Are you ready for my new look curvy divas?  TA-daaa......

No regrets, I love it! And so far, everyone who has come across me and my new hair color, loves it too! If they don't, I don't care and I don't want to hear about it!lol! So whatever it is you want to do curvy divas, just go for it! I highly recommend Splat hair color, it hasn't "dried-out" my hair at all, and has even made my natural curls more beautiful!

Backstage at OIFW Model Casting Call

On Saturday, yesterday in fact, I had the pleasure of attending a casting call for models , an event organized and hosted by Fierce Entertainment Management for their upcoming Orlando International Fashion Week, November  2-8, 2014 . Attendees at the event were welcomed by Fierce Entertainment's, Rob Henlon who then handed the program over to the vivacious Kristania Vielot who instructed the aspiring models for their walk down the runway, strutting their stuff for the designers and other members of the Fierce team. As the models strutted to the sound of the music-mix pumping, guests sipped and ate refreshments that were provided.   Before they walked the impromptu runway, I had a little  tête-à-tête   with three of the young models, Logan-9, Ashley-6 and Aiden-4,  beautiful, cute, and adorable , (who won't want me to call them that, but I am because they were) whose future will lead them to become what they dream of!   ...

Window Shopping Part Deux - What I Chose

As you know from my last article , I went shopping for swimsuit with my teen Mandi and ended up doing the same for myself. After all, I was in need of a new bathing suit. My last purchase for one was from Target eight years ago! And also during that time, I was the lucky recipient of two new suits from my BSFFL (Best Sister Friend For Life) who visited from Europe! So Those have lasted quite a long time!
