Vera Wang in Larger Sizes

You might know by now curvy divas, Kohl's is one of my favorite stores to shop! I love it because they carry fabulous names in fashion and fabulous finds for every sizes, including ours! You have seen the other some of the clothes I've gotten from Kohl's but I've never shared my Vera Wang finds...um..not true, I just remembered, I did share it before! My Vera Wang sheath dress (XL) from several seasons ago that I absolutely love to wear! I paired it with leggings, (have worn with jeans or dress pants too)! See the look here:

One of the other items I have from Vera Wang (XL), a long Satin Jacket with Self Sash/Belt. It is knee length and I've worn it with dresses, skirts and pants. Always "out on the town", but never to work. Until recently! I've decided that my clothes will no longer sit in my closet waiting for me to find somewhere "nice" or some "fancy occasion" to wear them! I spend so many hours five days a week at work curvy divas, why can't I wear one or two (or more) items to work? As with anything that I always say to you, choose your style, get the look you love and just go for it!

Window Shopping Part Deux - What I Chose

As you know from my last article , I went shopping for swimsuit with my teen Mandi and ended up doing the same for myself. After all, I was in need of a new bathing suit. My last purchase for one was from Target eight years ago! And also during that time, I was the lucky recipient of two new suits from my BSFFL (Best Sister Friend For Life) who visited from Europe! So Those have lasted quite a long time!

At the 2012 award show, Christina Aguilera was beautiful in all her curvyness in a Pamella Roland dress, unfortunately, she went overboard on the suntan lotion. Last year, she showed off a much leaner physique in a white Maria Lucia Hohan cut-out dress with a high split on the side. Her shoes were Christian Louboutin peep-toe and I loved her pave jewelry. How to Wear Glitter in the Daytime

Have you ever worn sequin aka glitter? It is pretty much a trend in fashion these days. Glitter is worn mostly at nights and for real special and dressier occasions. But not so today curvy divas. Glitter can also be worn during the day! I've worn glitter during the day time before and I try to make it look as understated as possible! You don't need too much accessories when you wear glitter. It is pretty much how you put your outfit together! On Elle.com Amanda Fitzsimons interviewed designer Marissa Webb who is known for using sequins during the daytime! Amanda wanted to know if this look (daytime glitter) can really work? Marissa said it definitely can and thinks it is in how shine the sequinned (or glittered) garment that choose to wear is. It is not just in the size of the beadings at all! I tend to agree with her. I don't think a really shiny sequinned garment on its own, would work for daytime. That would definitely be overkill! ...
