Kate Moss & Me

I'm still in search of the perfect shade of lipstick that would look really great on me. The last time I found a lovely shade of red I mentioned it on my foreverserenity blog. This time, I'm sharing my latest find (in detail) right here with you my curvy divas!  This is Kate Moss' (by/Rimmel London) new lipstick line. 

Although her line was out since 2011, this particular one might already have been "out" in Europe & the UK, (I haven't checked) I've just recently noticed it at one of my local drug store, Walgreens! In fact, the cosmetic lady said it was new!  On a sidenote, I love buying makeup, and hair products and other stuff at Walgreens. I get lost inside it's walls quite often!


Don't you love the look of the case? Sleek and elegant?! The Red color of the case is quite fashionable, and her signature (first name only) graces the top, with a heart!

......we have a winning blend!!! Notice how it somehow matches my shirt...not too shabby!

At the 2012 award show, Christina Aguilera was beautiful in all her curvyness in a Pamella Roland dress, unfortunately, she went overboard on the suntan lotion.  Last year, she showed off a much leaner physique in a white Maria Lucia Hohan cut-out dress with a high split on the side.  Her shoes were Christian Louboutin peep-toe and I loved her pave jewelry. Hair Trends: Rainbow Colored Hair

I've got a new obsession. Yes, a new one, rainbow colored hair.  I am fascinated by the women who are bold enough to do this look. I did my own bold look two summers ago when I went a very daring red.   I am actually antsy and really want to try pink and blue and green...need I say more? LOL!  Because I have to keep my looks under wraps (at least for the next couple of months) so that I don't scare the very conservative people I work with.  I cannot be really "loud" with my hair.  In my heart I am a child of adventure and do not let others bother me but I must admit there are times when "they" will suppress my spirit. These days though I'm happy to say that I'm learning to live in the moments and I am again learning to let me be me. So yes, I will find a way to try new colors and I do like rainbow colors! How to Wear Glitter in the Daytime

Have you ever worn sequin aka glitter?  It is pretty much a trend in fashion these days.  Glitter is worn mostly at nights and for real special and dressier occasions. But not so today curvy divas. Glitter can also be worn during the day!  I've worn glitter during the day time before and I try to make it look as understated as possible!  You don't need too much accessories when you wear glitter.  It is pretty much how you put your outfit together! On Elle.com Amanda Fitzsimons interviewed designer Marissa Webb who is known for using sequins during the daytime!  Amanda wanted to know if this look (daytime glitter) can really work? Marissa said it definitely can and thinks it is in how shine the sequinned (or glittered) garment that choose to wear is. It is not just in the size of the beadings at all! I tend to agree with her.   I don't think a really shiny sequinned garment on its own, would work for daytime. That would definitely be overkill! ...
