Flared Jeans with Flair

Is making a comeback, but did it ever leave? I've seen some similar styles of flare in pants over the years, so I don't think it fully left our wardrobe! Though I will admit, I don't have any flared pants...um, wait, I still do! A workout pant I wear when I exercise! So curvy divas, if you were to check your closets, will there be any flared jeans or other bell-bottom pants to account for?

If so, you're in luck because they are a good transition from Winter to Spring, according to one of my favorite style mavens Rachel Zoe! On her Fashion blog The Zoe Report (TZR), she features a pair from Stella McCartney that has not only flare, but flair! It is styled with a little more "oomph" to make it pop and bet you wouldn't feel too dated if you wear them!

What would you wear them with? Well on her site, Rachel suggests a knit top, a great looking pair of platforms, and even threw in a pink lip gloss to boot, ta -da-a -a ....you're all done, an outfit courtesy of TZR!

I definitely would wear them with a close cropped top, knit being a great example, or a fitted tee. For some of us curvy divas who happen to be heavier in certain parts of our bodies, top, bottom or middle, finding the right top to wear with these jeans will make it the perfect go-to item in your closet!

You choose your outfit with care, down to the shoes you wear for that particular look. You put your makeup on, and now it's time for your hair.....why is it not looking its best? Society's Never-ending Debate - Who is Plus Sized?

The debate continues about women who are curvier, heavier, plus sized...whatever your favorite terminology is for women who are not Size 0-14, or in the fashion world, Sizes X0-4! In 2014 I wrote about Designers who were confused about what plus size is and who also didn't want to dress women who were larger than a size 0. Once again in 2016, this debate that constantly has us, full-figured, curvy women, being pitted against the woman who is a size zero or regular size is still an issue today because of the Fashion Models being used by Designers in their fashion shows, the looks of these women being deemed as Plus Size are just not plus size.
