The Leather Trend

I've heard nothing but talk about leather for this Fall season. It's included in many a designers looks on the Runway recently, and it pops in several magazines as well! How would you wear leather curvy divas?  Would you dress it up, or down?  Accessorize, or not?  It's not the most functional material to wear, if it's not made well. And it can be the most stylish if you put your outfit together in a very chic way!

Here are some leather looks I liked enough  to pin on my Pinterest board:

I see myself in this look, with heels to carry off the length of the skirt. The boots, to party though, not work!

This skirt, beautiful and I would wear it with a jacket for work, or a sheer blouse to party!

This wouldn't look good on me, curvy hips and all!  Plus, what exactly is this look supposed to be anyway?
Maybe worn with jeans,  the leather tank/tunic might work for me?!

At the 2012 award show, Christina Aguilera was beautiful in all her curvyness in a Pamella Roland dress, unfortunately, she went overboard on the suntan lotion.  Last year, she showed off a much leaner physique in a white Maria Lucia Hohan cut-out dress with a high split on the side.  Her shoes were Christian Louboutin peep-toe and I loved her pave jewelry. Fashionistas - What's in a Word

You have heard this word before curvy divas , "Fashionistas"?  When it comes to anything to do with fashion and being fashionable, I am sure you have!  Do you know who coined the word and how it came about?  Well, first of all I didn't even realized that there was a story to the word, much less it being "coined" by any one particular person!  I just thought it was one of those words that came about and became popular because of its usage and in reference to anything fashion! According to Elle.com's Culture News, in an article by Rebecca Moss , the word Fashionistas was first created by Stephen Fried. Global Fashion: For the Bride: Bridal Week in Barcelona

Tis the season for brides, in fact, it really is ANY season that a bride to be chooses to get married.  However many weddings take place from Spring to Summer.  It must be something about the warm weather coming back, and flowers blooming with that scent in the air...could it be romance?! I took a  virtual walk over to glamour.com and found some really beautiful photos of bridal gowns in an article written by Glamour contributor Kim Fusaro , in her article featuring Barcelona's annual fashionable event, Bridal Week.
