Full Figured Fashion Week 2013

As an ambassador (self-appointed) of full & curvy divas out there who read with me, I've fallen short because I just found out that Full Fashion Week 2013 passed me by...last week June 17 - 22!!!! Hmmm, I thought I signed up for their mailing list, however, I guess not! So I made sure that I did that this time, and I checked the box to be informed of such events in the future! Oy~

Don't feel slighted curvy divas. I definitely won't! I would not have been able to attend this year's events, but I would have loved to have showcased them here and share them with you! Last year, a few months after I started this blog, I found out about this type of event and posted about it here Full Figured Fashion Week 2012

Another post of mine that was a write up for Orlando Fashion Week Magazine. It was published there previously. Fashionistas - What's in a Word

You have heard this word before curvy divas , "Fashionistas"? When it comes to anything to do with fashion and being fashionable, I am sure you have! Do you know who coined the word and how it came about? Well, first of all I didn't even realized that there was a story to the word, much less it being "coined" by any one particular person! I just thought it was one of those words that came about and became popular because of its usage and in reference to anything fashion! Tis the season for brides, in fact, it really is ANY season that a bride to be chooses to get married. However many weddings take place from Spring to Summer. It must be something about the warm weather coming back, and flowers blooming with that scent in the air...could it be romance?!
